Fake Trains On Long Island Railroad

Why is Long Island Railroad the only Route that has these Fake Trains in Scenarios. Why didn't DTG do this for other routes. You can easily recognize them by the fact that the fake trains have black windows

 

Where is that

 

One in Penn Station and the other in Jamaica but only in scenarios

 

I imagine they done it to make it busier without damaging frames (I’m sure at least one LIRR scenario has 10 or more scenery M7’s in the yard place near NY penn) and to make it feel like it connects to NEC as it does in real life

As for why other routes don’t do it, it may be a timing issue to do it as time may be better spent elsewhere than what is essentially fake trains, their could also be a real life issue where filling yards up with trains isn’t accurate to what actually happens real world

 

So since when does lirr have a amtrak train on it?

There is also "fake" freight cars in Oakville Subdivision Scenarios.

 

Unfortunately I didn't know that. Oakville is one of the few add-ons that I don't own.

 

I think Matt mentioned this on stream once and he said it wasn't well recieved, I think mainly because they have blacked out windows, which is fine for something at the back of a yard in TS, but in TSW when you can walk up to them - maybe not so much.
