From my understanding, it'll be built into the timetable in case the proper equipment ever comes, but it wont be represented in game.

Aside from Kat's personal project, there is no one planned on making a Genesis or ALC-42 at this time.

But who would even do that?

-None of the current 3rd parties make US content (Or anymore for Skyhook)
-DTG doesn't want to make them
-HIS for sure wont make them, and if they do, it would be a DTM project and that would be terrible.
-Reppo doesn't really make modern stock by himself (Unless contract work)

    So.......

The same person who is making the P42, is making a Viewliner baggage car.

definitely looking forward to this... at first I kinda hated F40PH, but once I got the hang of it, it was a nice chill machine... but mainly looking forward to driving HSP46... after F125 finally a modern diesel with working and actually implemented safety systems

One thing I noticed, and it's not really specific to this route but does stand out, and that's the lack of a glossy finish to paintwork, we get too much matt finish which in many cases is not authentic. Livery Creator really could do with a ""do you want matt, satin, high gloss"" finish slider as well to enhance the finish we see.

Livery Editor could do with sth like simulated lighting, where you could try hitting different light conditions at the consist to see how the livery/colors look like

Looks like DTG postoned the release of this route :|:(:|:(. I hope they are not using this as an excuse like how last time they also postponed a route in order to polish it, but when it come time to the actual released date, they did nothing and there are still bug and glitches in the final product.

Whenever a route launches in an unpolished state, I always reckon most of the issues could’ve been fixed by simply working on it for two more weeks. So I’m actually glad they’re taking their time in this case! Prioritizing quality over deadlines is never a bad thing.

The extra two weeks are not being used to make the route have two weeks worth of extra work from the state it would normally be in at release, it is an extra two weeks to get it to that state. Just in case anyone is under the impression that the delay is for anything other than just getting it to the point it should have been at two weeks earlier. Expect a normal level of quality on release day.

" but this extra time will allow our dev team to ensure that everything is as polished as possible. " - DTG Harry

    So this statement is misleading?

However, I suspect you're right. The route is simply not ready and there has been some miscommunication within DTG.

Can we get a word on what was specifically responsible for the postponement? Was it some gameplay issue? Stability? Scenery? DTG Harry

Hi folks - just to add here, the delay was decided to support some absences in the previous weeks and will allow our teams more time to polish the route in its final stages of development leading up to its release on November 12th.

We'll have more information and screenshots coming soon in new articles that showcase the route details, talk more about the signalling (from Brandon) and dive into the gameplay you can expect :)

sounds good, I like to go ahead and drive on something where I can prepare a bit ahead of time :) ... less anxiety then and more enjoyment :))) ... like with BR 101 Expert, I took time to learn the tutorials and then read some manuals and discussed a lot and eventually gathered courage to try it :D ... and while I wouldnt be able to solve all faults/problems if they occured, I got a nice basic hang of it :)

so will read your article when it is out for sure :)

Sounds great, looking forward for the articles. Even if the route and the preview stream is delayed, reading about it and seeing screenshots is great at "satisfying the hunger".

Does anyone happen to know what time the DLC will drop on PS5? I've seen the steam store has it available for pre-order but don't see anything like that on PS Store. TIA!
