So I have a few questions that I wanna get rid of right now, all just out of curiosity, I feel like I already start to become annoying with this but the excitement is hurting me to do this

1 - Will the Velaro D sub into services from the ICE 3(M) in timetable mode on routes such as: Munich-Augsburg, Dresden-Riesa, Kassel-Würzburg, Cologne-Aachen?
2 - Can you couple up two Velaro D's in the game? But that's probably a yes because we already got images of the coupler
3 - I slightly remember you said that the Desiro HC is a private project due to licensing issues, is that because of RRX? Would you be able to publish it if it was in a different livery from a train operator that already exists in TSW (such as DB)?
4 - will your modded trains, if that's even possible, have some of the improved suspension physics that'll be introduced soon?
5 - Will there be a DSK livery for the Velaro D?
6 - when will we get the first sound preview of the Velaro D? something around motors/door beeping/train horn?
7 - how loud is the Velaro D in-game? because it's probably well-known for being quite loud with it's traction motors
8 - how is the ICE 2 doing?

Would be awesome to have the Desiro HC, one of my favorites trains.

 

I gotta be honest it somewhat looks better in DB livery than in RRX livery. red-white-gray, kind of a classic for Regio trains

 

The Velaro D (DB BR 407) can only travel to France for international trips, so Cologne-Aachen wouldn't be realistic. Belgium and Netherlands will be handled by the Velaro MS (DB BR 408). Could still sub of course, trade-off between more variety and realism.

How is Progress going with the Br462? Really looking forwars for this train beeing added to the game . Did you manage to get all the license from Natonal Express and VRS or is this train just a privat project?

 

progress on the BR462 is going well, and gonna clear up a bit of misunderstanding, licensing for the BR462 is not a problem because I am not planning to release as payware, the model of the BR462 was one of the models that were not made by myself but by one of my friends therefore the only reason the 462 would not release would be because he doesn’t want it to (but that is very unlikely)

 

The ICE 2 is currently being modelled from scratch

Hey Folezz I have a question regarding the 182 Enhancement Pack and your upcoming ÖBB Taurus pack, will there finally be timetable 182+IC cars services, since DTG finally fixed the door issue, so doors finally open the correct way? have been waiting for something like this for a long time... DB 182 doing IC services!!

oh btw could you perhaps look into my questions I sent farther above and if you want to answer some? it's for documentation reasons

 

At this point its like you're playing a different game. Makes me jealous that you have a 218 and IC cabcar ingame, although they're likely AI only and not really modeled in the interior or animated at all :P

to answer a few questions the Velaro is not gonna subsitute ICE3/3M services its gonna get its own services on a timetable i am planning to make for HRR, don’t really know about the new suspension physics yet so can’t really say, and have not thought of any liveries yet for the Velaro, it’s still too early for that, and for any questions about sound I would ask Raph#6037 seeing he’s the one that made it.

There are on Vorarlberg, going from Feldkirch to Bludenz. Not sure if they're all classified as EC services, but it's 182+IC coaches at least

it looks off. one is enough. never have I seen an IC train with 2 locos on one end in my life. idk where DTG got that idea from. freight trains? not the same.

I'm not sure if you're talking specifically about 182s, but I'm pretty sure that IC (or possibly EC worked by DB stock) double-heading does happen somewhere - off the top of my head I think there are 2x 218 headed sets that run through Immenstadt?

 

Quite a few 218 operated IC/RE services run in double traction. Marschbahn uses double traction on the ICs and the Muehldorf RE/RBs top and tail with 218s.

Yeah the second one isn't really related, it has two locos so it can travel in both directions at high speeds. It's the IRE200 Wendlingen-Ulm, a regional train that uses the new high speeds line, goes up to 200km/h and thus needs high-speed capable rolling stock with support for ETCS. The control car doesn't have ETCS, that's why there's a second Vectron at the other end.

But yeah I've seen double 218s before, too, I think the IC services to Sylt/Westerland. Not sure if the double 182 is prototypical but I think it's fine either way

I don’t really care about TSGs work lol, I mean he announced a BR420 the days of TSW2 and here we are with TSW4, the Editor but no BR420, i’m sure he has his reasons why it’s delayed, but i personally don’t really take his work and his word that serious, the only reasonable work he has done in my eye was MAG, if DTG were to make the BR218 that would be a complete different story and I’d prolly leave it like with the Vectron, but they’re not, therefore work on my BR218 is going to continue.

In austria some ECs are hauled by 2 Taurus’s because there are areas on the route that are too steep for a loco to do in single effort.

 

Eh, not really. Almost all trains have their own beautiful differences, setting them apart from each other. It's what makes me appreciate Railway Technology so much, they're all unique in their own ways.

we've got it proven that the community (unfortunately always the community) always has to fix up things and on top of that adds lots of more variety, easter eggs and extra stuff (ICE 1 EP as an example, not only soundfixes, texture improvements, no, a GTO variant, a cat in the second seat in the cab, heck, even a DB x Duplo livery!) so I am sure that if you would compare theirs and yours aka. the community's work, the community surely will win. I know it takes time but the more time, the better the end product.
and I just realised that the Velaro ain't just a loco, it's a 8 car EMU, hell lot of work, I respect that, but can you enter the toilet rooms on this one? because... uh... damn it

 

Moders don't have to worry about license though

 

not unless they contact DTG about releasing it as a DLC if it really is hell of a good product (like Folezz wants to do with the Velaro as far as I remember, and to be honest, I do believe it will go well. definetly wanna pay the 16 bucks if it releases as a loco DLC)
