    Well I need to because im trying to build a german route from Dortmund to Münster and I would like a real train with a real cab.

    for missing RVV/Ds and other assets right click on an asset in your content browser, select show asset location, when it opens in windows explorer just drag your uasset out of the folder and back in and your assets should reappear

    a few new pics from Düsseldorf - Köln :)

    progress is going well, I have finally reached Köln-Mülheim with both tracklaying and scenery, I would give it a good 4-5 days until I finish up the whole thing, then I'll start with Signalling work aswell as Gameplay :)

    hey Folezz another quick question where can/should I apply new headlight textures to my modded RVVs because I couldn't find it yet

    and how do I make decals reflect the same as the overall train texture? I can't figure it out, and there is no MRAO for decal textures

    edit: and because I don't wanna mindlessly post too many "i need help from you" messages here, where do I set the chance of appearance of a variant that replaces the original train in a timetable? and do I need to set up anything or does it happen automatically? or do I need to add something to the route gameplay folders?

    You need to edit the according texture, and in the material you can set the metallicness, by either creating an image for that or setting a value

    Sorry to tell ya, but those headlight textures are quite wrong and don't really match the 403 :/

    does the TSW ICE 1 have the correct layout so I can grab that one because otherwise I may just leave it as it is

    not really a headlight-Picasso, so... could you perhaps do me that favor? (may we also move this conversation elsewhere, don't want to talk about different mods that are not Folezz' in his thread)

    A lot has happened since I have last posted :) , and that includes having reached Köln Hbf (Including the branch towards Köln Messe/Deutz(tief)) and having also decided to extend the Route through Opladen and Solingen (ignore Haan - Gruiten and Wuppertal) those have been scratched, the line through Opladen is very scenic with vegetation and limited to 160 km/h and quite the opposite of the big city vibes you get from the highspeed line through Leverkusen Mitte which travels at 200 km/h, from Solingen out it will link back to Düsseldorf, this will open alot of possibilites, especially with the plan to extend to Duisburg, meaning S1 services aswell as S6 services will be possible. This line is also the line redirected services take from Cologne towards Düsseldorf when there is a Line Closure on the high speed line through Leverkusen Mitte, so do expect a scenario on that ;)

    Since you are the best train builder in the pc editor forum, i wanted to ask how you make the train functioning? in the Tsw editor or in another Engine?
    As a complete beginner im proud i even managed to Design the basic Model of the train in blender.

    It is in unreal engine, and as a complete beginner, I think its not a good idea to start with rvv's and rvd's, etc.

    Very nice, but wouldn't it be good to first complete the route in V1 from Cologne to Düsseldorf, and then add the various branches as V2 and V3? I don't want to interfere; it's just an idea. In any case, I'm really looking forward to this route, and if Wuppertal is already mentioned, there's hope that it will maybe will be bilden too :love:.

    BTW because of all the Off-Topic stuff in here maybe you can make a threath with ask Folezz? ;)

    Yeah, I'm excited about an early release, but honestly, without DTG's fix, nothing's going to happen for now. What matters to me is the quality of the route, like learning from V1 and maybe getting some ideas or feedback from the community. It's also about keeping things enjoyable. The bigger something gets, the more likely it is to get overwhelming, and while I'm not saying I don't have trust in Folezz, I've seen the consequences of aiming too high too often.

    Nice to see that route come alive in TSW. To me, it's kind of iconic as it was one of the first german routes in RailWorks/Train Simulator, and Aerosoft also released it for Zusi 3.

    It has been a while since i've posted a video so I've decided to bring out the first video from Köln out, this video will preview the route between Köln Messe/Deutz(tief) and Opladen, please note Köln is still a very heavy work in progress still a lot of scenery is missing and vegetation might seem a bit funny but it is being worked on at the moment:)



    Video premieres at 16:00, and the Formation with ICE3 is to hopefully come with the BR101 Enhancement/Expansion pack, which has been made 80% compatible with TSW4, still a few issues to be looked into but loading it in game works :)

    Nice and speaking of the DB BR407 does it play like a DB BR403 from SFS Hannover Würzburg which itself counts for the HMA version in terms of achievements or the SFS Köln to Aachen DB BR406? In high wind conditions on SFS Hannover Würzburg, your speed on DB BR407 is 200 kmh 125 mph other times a 250 kmh 155 mph speed limit.

    after ALOT of troubleshooting and identifying issues in TSW4 with Muff and Foobian I'm finally proud to announce that the BR 101 Enhancement / Expansion Pack has been made compatible with TSW4, The BR101 + ICE formations like the one used in the Video above are also now a part of the pack enjoy (note that the ICE formations may be a bit buggy, but it's being looked into at the moment) :)

    looks good, i have a question about the Enhancement pack. does it have new sounds? because i dont drive it often. the horns sounds the same like from DTG .
