So why can't DTG do this themselves Clearly it is such an incredibly difficult task, that is why it took somebody from the community one whole week.
I can live with it - it's nowhere near as bad as the screenshots on the forums looked to me. Also fair play putting a minority opinion out there!
Same, I spend as little time as possible in the menu anyway. The only time I saw it for longer than a few seconds was when I was doing the initial settings. However, I don't think it's a particularly good choice and as long as it doesn't delay anything important, dark mode is probably worth having.
Every time I hit ESC to access the menu while driving, I get a little flicker. Other menu transitions do not appear to have this problem. Has anyone else seen this? Additionally, judging by the comments, there are still a few issues to be resolved before it can be considered a perfect replacement. Hard to read screens and such. Other than that, it looks great. Not that the OG colors bothers me that much, even if a wee bit on the bright side, but I must say imo this is definitely a step in the right direction. P.S. v2 out now, and looking even better, and as a pak file this time around. Much improved!
Version 2 of the TSW 7 Dark Mod is now available. With version 2, it’s now just a single .pak file that you need to copy into your DLC folder. The only time the brightness bothers me is if I’m doing a long night run, and when I’m gaming I usually keep the lights low/off, so I get flash-banged if I need to pause.
