Now we have the all bells and whistles 390 on a UK route. Where is going to go, where is it going to stretch its legs. It will spend a long while sat on a platform in Birmingham New St Station. Just how long will it take before we can drive it there?

Must admit moderately disappointed at the shallow Flixtrain presence. They go to all that trouble to get a licence for three trips a day in each direction!?

Would be nice to think there are future plans but... Class 700 looking at you.

These kind of journey lengths will never exist on TSW. That is why I’m going to start investing in TSC. The route you mentioned is one of many I have wish listed on steam. I’m hoping to see some nice discounts :)

I didn’t enjoy this stream or route, as much as the San Bernardino stream and route. Thought the San Bernardino was extremely accurate and although l asked Jan and Lukas they made no comment on the accuracy of the route and from comparing it to pictures, l am not too sure about it. Is anyone local to the route to comment further?

If you want to compare it just watch a cab ride

I think it's pretty accurate. Shure, some details are missing, Frankfurt Hbf suffering the most from these cuts, but at least I didn't notice any severe errors in the scenery.

Can ICE go directly from Frankfurt to Kassel?

In the game? No. You need to do a route change in Fulda so you must stop there.
In real life? Of course. Most ICE lines do stop at Fulda, but all trains from Line 20 and 22 as well as all ICE Sprinters pass Fulda.

I guess DTG will continue north from Kassel to Berlin next?

I doubt it. The line north of Kassel towards Hannover isn't that different from the section we've already got. A few less tunnels and therfore more sections with 280km/h line speed, but nothing you could get with KWG. And if you'd wanted to reach Berlin from Kassel you would need at least three more DLCs to cover the whole distance. If we're talking about the next German high-speed line DLC I would bet on the SFS Köln-Rhein/Main. It's one of the fastest two lines in Germany and other than the VDE8 it doesn't need ETCS and connects two big stations in Germany which are already in the game.

While there were some bugs noticeable in the stream overall I was impressed:
    • The number of layers gives the route a wide variety of playable and AI services. I may even buy Maintalbahn when it's on sale. I think this something that German routes seem to do well in general.
    • I also liked that Matt kept getting slowed down by the signals and it wasn't a clear run, that's something I wish we would see more of in other routes.
    • There are a wide variety of safety systems on the route, including German semaphore signals.

Just was finishing my first run from Fulda to Frankfurt and experienced a crash whilst crossing the Main river. TSW barely ever crashes for me. I'm on Xbox series X by the wag

In addition to these problems identified in the preview stream, I've just had my first run with and ICE-T on the line have encountered more issues:
    - Singalling at Frankfurt Hbf has severe issues. The signals often show the incorrect aspects for the set route or even aspects that aren't possible in the Ks system.
    - Bad performance. Even with a very good PC the route suffers from severe lags, some even lasting multiple seconds. The performance on WCML is way better
    - The power of the ICE-T seems too weak below 160km/h.
    - The brakes are too weak. Too stay under the PZB brake curve you have to apply full brake from 160km/h, whilst on the real train (depending on the track condition) usually step 5 is enough.
    - Tilting isolation switch is not bound to the safety system keyboard shortcuts. With Ctrl+NumEnter and Shift+NumEnter you can quickly enable all safety systems. As the Tilting isolation switch is not bound to these shortcuts you still need to open the fuse box and enable it manually
    - The fire protection doors on the interconnecting corridors are closed, whilst they should be open.
    - GNT entry is only possible in Frankfurt. As I started my run without tilting enabled and only switched it on whilst already driving, I wasn't accepted by GNT. I don't know the technical details well enough, but as the GNT version uses Eurobalises with fixed values only, a entry into the system should be possible at every double balise (single balises are usually only used for odometry corrections and not for safety critical transmissions)
    - When returning from free cam to the cockpit with enough distance to cause a loading screen, the ICE-T plays its startup warnings, even though it wasn't shut off.
    - When starting the ICE-T the announcment "WB gesperrt" is played, which is wrong. The warning referes to the isolation of the Eddy current brake, which can be only found on the ICE 3 family trains. The ICE-T doesn't have this system.
    - The brake display (normally on the right display) also shows "WB" on the top row. This should be "Mg" (Magnetschienenbremse) for the track brake.
    - In overcast conditions the glare on the displays can be too much, making it impossible to read anything of the screen.

As a train driver I can confirm that too. The breaks are to weak. And also for The WB i can confirm that it is wrong. I guess it was just copy and Pasted from The 403.
