the problem is with frankfurt hbf being empty is that it also affects some services for example on the normal timetable you can use ice 1 and 3 for services via the flughafen to wiesbaden and now console dont even get those services at all which is in my opinion pretty annoying bc the ice 1 and br403 already dont layer on so many routes in tsw

 

Seems to be a pattern with successive iterations of TSW. No doubt we'll see few if any changes to the current version before it's swept away by the PR tsunami accompanying TSW6 or whatever the fall brings.

 

If I play it on the Microsoft store PC version which timetable do I get reduced or the full one if it's the full timetable one pretty much the Xbox Community can just run it onto the PC complete with modding

 

So what do consoles actually get timetable wise ?

 

If I'm not mistakien, PC timetable is 1010 services, console timetable is 635 (430 / 423 / 143 / ICE T / dostos)

 

So no freight jobs buts is there freight on the pc timetable.

 

The number of freight services is very low, I believe. Not much runs on the lines as represented in real life, so there isn't much to put in-game.

 

Oh ok I thought read somewhere it was part of a busy freight route.

 

If your only continuing bugbear with the game is selection of routes, then you're either incredibly easily pleased, or work for DTG.

 

As it stands, the game is incredibly badly optimised. Actions speak louder than words, we'll believe it when it happens.

 

I am afraid, but I don't think the regional station at Frankfurt Airport was thoroughly researched. This blue wall mosaic wasn't there in 2019. The regional station was only modernized during the almost three-month closure, and in that context, it received the aforementioned mosaic. The same applies to the pillars – they were painted magenta - and the floor tiling on the platforms.

This video shows the station in 2019 before the renovation. This article, which, by the way, can be googled in just a few minutes, even confirms my statements that the station didn't look like the one shown in the DTG video in 2019 – and even more so in 2018, when the line was located. If at all only plattform 1 was renovated at that time, although I remember it being in the old design layout when I worked at FRA during 2018, as such the station should be displayed in older dull design as it appeared in 2018 prior to the renovation and closure for connecting Gateway Gardens.

My question: can that be fixed?

The line itself makes a very good impression

PS. Are some ICE trains also routed via Regionalbahnhof as this was and is common when Fernbahnhof has problems - Video from 2024 and 2019.

 

Well, I can confirm I don't work for DTG. Which means I don't have to be quite so polite when immature people resort to insults just because I have a different opinion to theirs.

I'm incredibly fussy actually, there's just more important things happening in the world to get angry about. A slightly buggy simulator doesn't even register on my stress levels. But you are clearly more exercised about it than I am and that's fine, we're all individuals with different priorities in our lives.

 

nice comment ... speaking of bugs, for some weird and probably twisted reasons I dont mind passengers appearing on tracks or cars running the crossings on some routes, if you know what I mean (thats what over a decade of working in retail/bookshops does to you lol)

 

I specified your problem with the game, not the wider world. There were no insults, unless you are suggesting me saying you work for DTG is an insult. Hope you continue to be absolutely delighted with everything they put out.

 

I was merely pointing out that one of the advantages of not working for DTG is that I don't have to be as polite on the occasions I get insulted, I don't think I accused you of insulting me but maybe suggesting I'm easily pleased could be construed as being disdainful and/or discourteous.

I think it's a valid point to say that because I'm stressed about other things in my world that issues with a computer game are inconsequential in the greater scheme of things and don't cause me to attain the levels of anger I see from others. As I said "That's fine, we're all individuals with different priorities in life".

In order to "continue to be absolutely delighted with everything [DTG] put out" I'd have to have started to be absolutely delighted at a prior point. I'm not "absolutely delighted" with everything, you may have noticed my reference to my opinion of releases being "slightly buggy" or read the constructive feedback I've given on some releases over the last 8 years on this forum.

But anyway, this is a boring read for everyone else. I'm happy for you to DM me and we can pick up this difference in opinions in more detail. I'm trained in dispute resolution and settle commerical litigation cases when I'm working, so you're in safe hands.

yes, there is no freight transport (not even AI) and there are no BR101 + ÏC coaches, and there is probably no traffic to Frankfurt Hbf and many others that mainly operate to Frankfurt Hbf

 

Unfortunately the Hbf signales have the same habbits that we have seen on FTF already. IRL it would always be the closest signal to you indicating the clear to move. You can not start a "Zugfahrt" against a Kennlicht. If there is a second signal after that this would show the Kennlicht. However in TSW it is usually the second one giving the clear and you have to start against the Kennlicht. But this is a compromise I can live with.

As to the PZB magnets in the Tief station. There are no 500Hz magnets there IRL. In fact, the signal at the end is protected using three individual GPAs. One at the beginning of that platform, one at the middle and one at the end. The end is apparently checking for 5kph (plus the usual tolerance of 10kph). Lukas was talking about this also in the German wednesday stream.

Edit: I have seen your question on discord regarding the Halbregelabstand in Mainz Kastel. I would be really interested to hear what the outcome was of this enquiry? Did you get an answer on this (there was none in the public discord at least…)?
