All candacedtg was saying is that it’s hard to start one from scratch, get it up and running, and keep growing that forum/community. Nothing about having a low opinion of the members here. For the handful of successful ones I’ve been a part of, I’ve seen 5x as many fail. It’s not a personal vendetta against anyone, it’s just the fact that it can be challenge to start one from scratch.

If growing a community is so difficult, it makes DTGs initial idea of closing the forum even more perplexing.

It seems this new "Official Content Discussion" section is a little redundant as we already had a Thames Valley thread in GD...now we need to flick between 2 sections for discussions about 1 DLC. There's always a thread in GD some time before the one in this new section gets created and that will continue to be the case.

The article thread at least is now locked to replies, otherwise we'd be seeing 3-4 duplicate threads

Listen, I'm not part of that community, but the fact people like you keep complaining is the exact reason pride keeps being pushed. If you all just shut up and kept your homophobia to yourself it wouldn't get "rammed down your throat" as often then you wouldn't need to keep being irrationally triggered by a rainbow

    Hey folks,

I'm going to close this thread and end this discussion before it escalates, as I don't see it leading anywhere productive.

I do want to make one thing clear: as a company, we fully support the LGBTQIA+ community, and being queer is not an ideology.

Everyone is welcome to hold their own views, but we ask that discussions in our community remain respectful and that comments targeting or demeaning protected groups are left out of our forums.

    Thank you.
