No, they aren't priced in US$. I think they are Brazillian Reals.

Excellent pack. If you get it make sure you mouse around in the caboose. Combination of the arrow keys and mouse pointer.

Bought it too, finally some affordable and nice USA steam locomotives that come with useful rolling stock.

    Schnauz's review.
There are some minor flaws and small quibbles, but for the money you get excellent value.

Here they are awaiting duty at Camden Yard (MCSA route) Rock RS3s at Camden (MCSA).jpg

Edit: Even better there are 4 liveries note that the top right engine is a darker maroon with no logo on the end whereas the top left is essentially the same basic livery but paler and has the coonskin logo DW Rock Island RS3s.jpg

How can you tell what model the F-Unit is back there? Did you find a larger picture somewhere?

[Removed - Alex: Insulting other forum users]

It is good so see another new steam locomotive in development, even though it may be the only new piece of rolling stock in the coming DLC.
DRGW's 3600 "Chesapeake's" are described in some detail here: http://www.corailroads.com/2015/07/d-3600-locomotives.html.
Since the whole class was scrapped in 1955 and 56, the EMD cab unit in the background could be anything from an FT to an F7, perhaps even a F9: http://www.railgoat.railfan.net/drgw_f-units/index.htm, Rio Grande had plenty of them.

The Rocky Mountains should look spectacular, which will require quite some effort from the creators, so let's wait and see.
I believe there once was a freeware Tennessee Pass route fragment DLC, but have lost track of it.

The ALCo PA in DRGW livery would be a nice complement, hint, hint ...

They can't be F9s, since none of those units ever wore that scheme, and the FT units were delivered with large numberboards on the side of the unit, which are clearly not visible. [IMG]

So its pretty much an F3 or F7, and since Milepost already has an F7 from Wasatch that's where my bet goes.

Way back in the day, Johnathan Lewis, AKA Milepost Simulations made a freeware Tennessee Pass, it later got a scenery upgrade from Marc Simpson and released in 2012 as Tennessee Pass 2 on RWA.

Yes the scenery was upgraded for the Northern half of the the route from Minturn but not Southern half as far as I know. Still perfectly driveable throughout.

Diesel Workshop with a new RS-3, The Southern Railway
    https://www.dieselworkshop.net/product-page/rs-3-southern-railway

What I like about how DW is doing this RS-3s is how each unit has changes to it that relates to how each railroad ordered them, these small things make these DLCs so much better. (Unlike other devs that dont care about the small details)

I'm talking about stuff like TLS, TBT, and DTM.

I could care less about UK stuff.

    Wish VRC was still around.

At least there is Reppo, Smokebox, MR and SS.

Check out a lovely pair of short lines (fictional) in Maine at the Library at Railworks America called the Pogwassek Island Route. It includes the afore mentioned route and the Prescott & Cedar Island Route. Scenarios are being developed and are welcome to anyone who wants to make one. The author has a awesome talent for making scenery that is just immersive for the area. 20230724201828_1.jpg 20230724175200_1.jpg 20230718202723_1.jpg

From what's already existed from RSC and GAoR GP9s, this is a good sign. Can wait to see which paint scheme is gonna be on this bad boy.

I'd expect the GP9 to be like the ALCO RS3, with multiple versions coming out over time.
