    These are the errors im getting from event viewer managed to get it going so far then crah to desktop no erorrs

    The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
    {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54}
    and APPID
    {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402}
    to the user CmOs\johnm SID (S-1-5-21-2085392337-3156782016-1657511360-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

    Im lucky to get one leg of a route done then when i go to the next one striaght crash to desktop some times without even a error on screen.

    Just getting it to run is a bonus but takes several crashes to get there.

    Fresh install of game and windows even bought new ram and HD thnking that could be the problem.

    Also done a strees test on the GPU and a windows memory test and a memtest64 all clear no warm temps.

    geforce 4090 24gb
    32 GB ddr5 ram
    2 Tb M.2 storage

    From Goggle AI:

    he fact that this error originates from Train Sim World 6 (TSW6) provides critical context. The CLSID and AppID you shared actually belong to the Windows PerAppRuntimeBroker, which is heavily tied to the Universal Windows Platform (UWP) and Xbox Live services framework. [1]
    When you launch TSW6 (especially via the Xbox App / Microsoft Store or a version utilizing Xbox Live authentication for DLC and profiles), the game requests a background handshake with this broker. When Windows denies it local activation permissions, it can trigger game freezes, stuttering, or an immediate crash to the desktop.
    Since this is affecting a high-performance game like TSW6, apply these specific adjustments to the previous troubleshooting steps:
    1. Identify the Correct Name in Component Services
    When you get to Step 2 (Component Services / dcomcnfg), look explicitly for PerAppRuntimeBroker. If it is not listed alphabetically by name, it will be listed directly by its AppID: {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402}. [1]
    2. Add System-Level Profiles to Permissions
    Games interacting with Windows gaming frameworks often require broader security descriptors than just your user account profile (XXXXXX - Redacted by me). When you edit the Launch and Activation Permissions for the broker, click Add and explicitly add the following three objects: [1]
    • SYSTEM
    • LOCAL SERVICE
    • CmOs/XXXXX(Your specific user account) [1] Edit - Username redacted by me)
    Check Allow for Local Launch and Local Activation for all three profiles. [1]
    3. Clear Xbox / Microsoft Store Cache
    If permissions are correct but the game still crashes, the handshake failure might be due to corrupted temporary authentication data. You can clear this by resetting the Windows store dependencies:
    1. Press Win + R, type wsreset.exe, and press Enter.
    2. A blank command prompt will open. Wait roughly 10 seconds for it to close automatically and refresh the store layout.
    3. Open the Xbox App, sign out of your profile, restart your PC, and sign back in before launching TSW6.
    Hope this helps
