Looks so much better at night. Excellent update Anyone else notice a lot more flange squeal on the 314 though? The sound is a bit irritating to me (I've got a bit of tinnitus and the pitch of this one sound is the problem)
just played it and I can't tell the difference, it's still as boring as it was before and the visuals look the same to my eye
Not sure where this should be if it's in the incorrect place, please inform me and I will move it if I can. But the one !!!JetWash-TSW4-Class314-Headlight.pak mod from here that Jetwash made is causing the Iced Up Window effect. It needs to be disabled until it can be corrected.
You might need to buy the 380 for the new timetable although to be fair I watched the British Ace's stream and beyond Glasgow it still seemed a bit empty. I would have imagined it would be much busier.
Does the 170 have services on Cathcart I refuse to buy Fife circle until its up to a good standard which is unlikely
I think there are a couple of depot moves from what I recall when I looked yesterday. I don't think you are missing anything by not having it.
Decided to go for the twin pack today and got the route and 380 for £23....... Thought all was going quite well with average frame rates until I did a run from Neilston to Glasgow and found it was glitching massively with stutters/pauses of up to 5-10 seconds!!!! Decided to zoom out from the train and notice there is a built up city scape for what seems like miles on end which would never be seen unless really zoomed out. My setup isn't the newest but i manage other routes OK.... (Except the Suffragette Line which had the same massive stutters issues and I'm now thinking may be due to the same massive spread of normally unseen scenery?). I know some people like to zoom out and see a whole world out there but surely there could be a setting to be able to cut back the surrounding scenery to a lot nearer the railway line for those who really aren't all that bothered about scenery you would never even see without flying high above the train. I also notice someone has given a new item review on Steam for the new version of the route saying something similar and that the route previously had no stutters and now has lots so doesn't look to just be myself affected. Anyway refund applied for and issued.
I just found the colours to be too washed out and nuclear looking, it may be because I have god mode installed with all the ini settings for each route and it hasn't been updated for the new updated Cathcart.
Well, I suppose having parted with my hard-earned cash, I should not expect any positive comment from DTG. I'm pretty disappointed to note that this "updated route" still has a training module that proudly informs users that they are enjoying "Train Sim World 2". (So much for quality Control and attention to detail!)
If that's the only complaint to be had about the update then I think it's a job well done from Dovetail.
Why did you part with your hard earned cash if you didn't expect anything positive? Has this minor, non-consequential error you have discovered ruined the complete DLC for you? Or, is it just more hyperbole. I mean it is certainly scraping the barrel of things to moan about!
Sad to hear some people are having problems with stutters. It runs fine on my setup and having lots of fun with it.
You didn’t purchase a new route. You purchased a TSW2 route that has been upgraded to TSW4 standards for free. It is still a TSW2 route. So this is a completely nonsense complaint.
I consider myself duly reprimanded; but to me, an upgrade is an upgrade. Whether or not it is free is irrelevant (my opinion, and you have the right to disagree).
Has anyone noticed the stations on the Neilston Branch are completely pitch black when it's dark no lighting well not on mine anyway I did report it
So which one do I buy? As of today they are both on the PS store. Is it save to assume the newer one?
I can only show Steam, don't have PS. And If I understand your question correctly. If you have this already. Train Sim World® 4: Cathcart Circle Line: Glasgow - Neilston & Newton Add-On then you would get this, But this will not work without the above. The remaster is Free. Train Sim World® 4: ScotRail BR Class 380 EMU Add-On
