They could possibly allow it to substitute in though for those that have it? Like we have with all of the 66s, can't we just choose which Jubilee we want to put on the rail tour? Either the SOS Bahamas or one of the other two? I'm sure its not a massive job to edit the consists to bw the same length?

I don't have the Rivet steam pack yet, mainly as I don't particularly feel like driving five carriage railtours. However if the Rivet Jubilee was a priority layer on the railtours over the SOS one I would purchase it.

As oft stated the SOS steam locomotives would not be allowed on network rail metals as modelled.

Neither would much of the Railtour layer stuff. No headlights no TPWS and no GSMR (not that it functions in game).

Likewise I'd probably also Buy it. I know its not perfect but they're closer to the specs at least and it'd be nice to have a few to choose between in different liveries. :)

Exactly. I hope they keep using the SOS Jubilee for layers because it will allow a big portion of the player base to enjoy steam action on modern routes. They could obviously allow the Rivet Steam locos to substitute into this railtour layer.

Also shoutout to Shaun123 for his detailed review. The route seems well-made and well-rounded, and the cool amount of layers is the cherry on top. I understand that it probably won’t make lots of sense to buy it if you already have the 323 from Cross City. But I personally haven’t tried that DLC yet, so I’m really looking forward to Glossop. Will probably purchase later today.

Nothing against the sos layer since its definetly has the higher playerbase.

But for owners of the steam railtour pack, ill suggest a substitution with the aws equiped version, but the original still selectable from the menu.

Thats what I've been saying too.
It doesn't seem like a particularly large request compared to some others? Would also allow you to play the 3 different preservation locos in different liveries.

meridian#2659 wow thanks for that PDF! I love real world stuff like that.
Do you know where I could find one for the 465 and the Electrostars? Current day material from the private operators is what I'm after.

The 465 southeastern fleet is owned by eversholt, thats why i never posted manuals of them in public with current issues. Nowadays traction documentations have usually heavy copyright claims (Siemens, hitachi etc.)

Huge shoutout to the scenery and art teams on this route!

I believe this is the first time I’ve purchased a standalone Dovetail route at launch since Tharandter Rampe back in early 2022. I didn’t have huge expectations after the scenery on the extended SEHS sections, for example, was very average. But the improved Glossop scenery is really apparent.
Up until very recently, newly released routes were wildly inconsistent and partly barebones scenery-wise, and the textures were also very inconsistent. But with Glossop, the scenery around various parts of the route is just very lovely. There’s also finally some good colors and realistic weathering everywhere, so the world doesn’t look like bland plastic anymore.

    Way to go, DTG! :D

  14. I got nothing bad to say about this Route well maybe just one little pick i have to say with the Water Works Scenario i would of loved to of seen water splash come off the wheels when driving over the flooded water would of made it much better but that is a small thing as far as the route goes its 100% pure magic in fact have to say is one of TSW's best ever Routes and that is saying something from me if u been following me on my you tube channel for the years i been doing TSW u would know that East Coastway has been my number 1 fav route of all time in TSW well i have to say that this Route is now right up next to that its taken a while for dovetail to get something right but i hope that this will be a step forward we will have to just wait n see so big thank you to all the staff that worked on the Glossop Line from all of us here at Australia Worldwide Gaming & Entertainment's You Tube channel home to TSW in Australia..
