I just started playing the game this week and am beyond impressed by the fine attention to detail, especially how the gradient boards are accurate to each location. I have however noticed one potential error, that being this sign on the Ffarquhar Branch, on the Viaduct over the Els. I think this is meant to show a transition from Level to 1-in-185 UPHILL, not downhill. I've experimented with 'coasting' engines and the railway definitely runs uphill from here and past the bus depot to the next gradient board, just south of the Windmill at Dryaw: There also appears to be a gradient board missing at Toryreck Junction, namely the one for the diverging line to Knapford harbour. Likewise, one inside the Ballahoo Tunnel to mark the top of the hump between Vicarstown and the Hoo Valley. Signs like this are also absent from the steep line up to Anopha from Ffarquhar, the last one being at the foot of the 1-in-30 by the balloon loop. At first I thought this meant it was a continuous 1-in-30 up to the quarry, but I am certain there are changes in gradient along the way, with the line getting (if anything) steeper the further up we go. I know all this is very nitpicky, but knowing where the gradients are and how steep they are plays into 'learning' the line and sessions when I try to set up heavy trains. For practical purposes, would it be possible for a Gradient Screen or a display/indicator in the HUD, so that players might know how steep a slope they are on at any time? Please don't take this as criticism on my part, especially given all the work put into the game - more my thoughts on how the lilly might be gilded
