The UK route is always in some way iconic, normally high speed at least in part, though TSW2 did have the Bakerloo line as a bit of an experiment.

LTS wouldn’t meet the bar - it’s a sometimes speedy bus route. It would come as a normal add-on like Suffragette or Manchester Airport.

DTG said they had the GWR licence back, and they didn’t get it just to make the GWE Remaster better. Licensing takes effort. They need a return on investment there. We’re going to get something either in the Bristol/Newport/Cardiff area, or heading into Devon, but given the normal ‘high speed’ feature of a bundle route, it’d have to be somewhere where the IET can stretch its legs up to at least 100mph IMO.

800 with a power changeover and enough space to stretch its legs on both would be nice but I feel I am dreaming…
