That's it, not a word more, where to put the money? If it helps to make future remasters, I will be happy to support you with a ruble)

As far as I know it worked well with the Class 380 and the Acela didn't it? The Cathcart remaster and new 380 timetable was one of the best received things since your WSR remaster from what I recall.

One can dream, but I fear we are stuck with the soulless MTU variant. Perhaps we need to create a poll to establish how this would affect sales of the dlc. Honestly, if it were to include the Valenta engine I would say ‘name your price’. To put this into context - I’ve driven the current HST once and not returned.

Must admit of the modern variants I do prefer the VP185. However I believe Liam has said that this pack isn't necessarily actual heritage or pre-refit units, and rather is the retro liveries some power cars received to bid them farewell in their latter years, so still MTU engines.

You’re absolutely correct. I guess I’m just hoping there is a slim chance the VP185 will be introduced and in turn maximise Liam’s sales : )

Not forgetting the update with Dresden-Riesa too which came with the BR 193 Vectron and Eanos Wagons as brand-new loco DLC.

None of the VP185 power cars wore special liveries before they were withdrawn....but I'd love to see some in retro Midland Mainline liveries.

As much as Birmingham cross city needs a update, I don’t think it should take priority when you have all the routes for tsw 2020 that still need basic updates like new lighting and even better a full remaster

First we Need to know about a Unreal Engine 5 Update, because all Routes need a new Lightning before TSW 3 then.

NTP and TVL One of the worst routes with WCL from the old TSW Content from UK
The Landscapes Are pretty bad because the routes too old

DB got rid of all their 56's. Colas has a few and DC rail. 56's were converted to Class 69's by EMD for use by GB Railfreight
They have a GM12n-710G3B-T2two stroke engine and a GM EMD AR10/CA6Traction Alternator. They have Brush TM73-62 traction motors. It was a complete rebuild of the loco.

One thing I note from GWE powercars. The traction whine is quite noticeable irl. Its either very quiet or isnt there in the current TSW MTUs.
That and the burst of revs as it goes from notch to notch.

Matt loves slam-door trains, we've already got one DMU, hopefully another on the way. I wouldn't expect a slam door EMU just yet but we'll get one eventually.

There isn't going to be an Unreal Engine 5 update - this has been explained and the reasons why have been discussed many times.

I wouldn't put NTP and TVL in the same boat as WCL. NTP and TVL were good for their time, WCL is just a bad route overall.

I agree WCL is indeed a very bad route. To be honest it would be a lot nicer if it was upgraded rather than it being a stand alone product

There are no routes in TSW that would justify a slam door EMU at the moment. The last slam door EMUs were withdrawn around 2010 and even then they were almost entirely extinct. The route would need to be set around the turn of the millennium, which would be a very cool time period to explore but I have no idea if they'd even consider it. That said, they could backdate an existing route, but if they were going to do London to Brighton as an example they'd need more than just a 4CIG. The CEPs and VEPs would really need to be there to add the variety that the slam door era had.

An unfortunate flaw with DTG is that they are allergic to adding variety through alternate subclasses and variety. For London to Brighton they made only the 377/4 for Southern services. Ignoring the lack of 455s for suburban services, they missed out at least seven other varieties. This of course lead them to adding the '377/1' to the timetable to make up the numbers, despite the /1 being completely inaccurate. Funnily enough, they couldn't even be bothered to model the interior for the /2s, which is largely identical to the later batch of /1s.* The same applies to the 465s, and the 375s, and pretty much every other modern UK train in TSW.

*There are three different variants of the 377/1 subclass, all of which are different inside in substantial ways to the /4.

My idea to have the Medway Valley Line late 90s with slam door stock linking Redhill to Strood. I know the eras would be different but that would allow route hopping between SEHS and Brighton Mainline.

Some really interesting developments happening which will tie in with this route nicely, as well as other things.

As the saying goes; 'Slow and steady wins the race'. :)

I know what you mean, they don’t sound nearly as meaty as they sound in Ben Elias’s incredible cab view videos of the NMT on youtube. Unfortunately updated sounds from AP are beyond the scope of the remaster and, I would imagine, Liam’s HST pack he is developing as well.

Won't happen unless Liam works on the MML route or decides to backdate the GWML. I believe a few GW HST sets trialed the VP185 but that would mean remodelling Reading.

You mean sliding doors? They were only fitted when the HSTs got demoted to regional work in Devon

Wholly anachronistic. If DTG were to make a vintage route from the era when the Valentas were still running, that would be one thing; but to put it on any of the extant Class 43 routes would be almost as ridiculous as DLGW. No Valenta-engined HST ever wore GWR or Midland colours.
