You'll need 'Island Line 2022: BR Class 484 EMU Add-On' with comes with both the 484 and the island route.

Fingers are itching to get this now. Obviously it can only come when it's ready and not before. The handful of screenshots currently available are incredible but I bet they only scratch the surface. Yet again, thanks DTG Liam .

As the Elizabeth Line has services to Reading ( class 345 ? ) this would be a chance to see its other west termini at Heathrow ( 3 terminals )

IOW22 is quite a nice jaunt in and of itself, I recommend giving it a quick go

Berninalinie is also a great route if you’re into Swiss stuff.

Heathrow will NOT be included in this remaster as this would instead be a extension which would require a full rebuild. Aside from that, Heathrow is not possible for licensing and possible security reasons. The Heathrow branch has been requested more times than I care to remember and although a popular choice, is highly unlikely unless Ferrovial (HAL owners) have a change of heart as this branch is under their jurisdiction. Sad but this is how it is with private companies unwilling to assist.

It’s… okay but are some anomalies with the signalling and the 484 is way over powered. You don’t need more than Notch 2 or 3 and you are pretty much insta hitting top speed. It also sounds nothing like a D78.

Not sure how powerful they are in reality but as for sound, it makes sense as the only bit that is original D78 is the body/frame. Practically everything else is new.

As they will only be glimpsed as AI at Ealing Broadway briefly, I guess the fidelity isn’t quite so important.

Nope. It's not an extension, just a very good upgrade/facelift of what already exists

it's just a remaster, not a new route. In other words, identical to the old route, except with better textures and set-dressing. No extensions, no new track, no new rolling stock.

It's free for a reason. Free doesn't include new trains or track. Also no license so dtg can't create a modern version of the route

    I know there’s a big difference between the 345s and 710s…. A shame a little off the rails action with a 710 wouldn’t work

DTG Liam Really looking forward to this remaster. Will any of the London Underground services be playable, as in the ones between Paddington and Westbourne Park which represent the Circle and Hammersmith and City Lines? As well as this, will the 387 services to Hayes and Harlington be playable? Thanks.

387 services will be playable. Looking to add the Hayes services along with ECS moves to the depot.
Circle and Hammersmith and City Lines will have a handful of driveable services throughout the day. Not all as there would be a lot of repeat ones but also will cause AI trains to be delayed.

The 387s are from London commuter which had livery designer support so why wouldn't it?

I'm wondering if with this remaster, will the Thames Turbo services have their timings altered?
In the current iteration of the timetable, it's almost impossible to keep to timings since the class 166s had the physics altered back in the pres crew days.

The original timetable probably won't be changed, but the new timetable will hopefully have better timings. As far as I'm aware the timings are generated by editor itself so they should be accurate.

There are two ways to do timings: simulated or manual, following the real Working Timetable. I always use manual timings when building timetables, and build in padding for late trains to catch up at station stops: I set the load/unload instruction to 20 seconds, while the station stop itself is 30 seconds unless otherwise noted; on East Coastway some station stops are a minute or even longer, giving trains extra time to catch up if they're running behind.

Simulated timings expect you to run as perfectly as the AI, and unless you round up the time (which the editor can do automatically), are often too tight for players. But if you round up, everything takes longer than in real life, and you get conflicts between trains that the real timetable planners avoided for you... :)

The original timetable won't be getting any work done to it apart from a few bug fixes. New timetable will be using the timings from the working timetable rather than simulated timings.

Liam good evening! Please clarify whether the new timetable will include BR class 33 services? Is there a plan to introduce a new suspension feature to class 33?

Really looking forward to the remaster, love a HST. Great 387s are being layered in! Something that I've been upset about recently!

I know I'm not Liam.. (sorry!)
Anyway, I don't believe the windows will be openable, because (as far as I know) that would require a model change - so I doubt it will have happened, however.. I'd be very happy to be corrected here! ;)

I mean... suspension is being added... that's not a quick job...

It is understandable if this hasn't been done though. A lot has happened for free already!

Well yeah, but I'd imagine the suspension would only need the bogies and wheels "remodelling" as such, whereas for the windows it would mean the actual train itself would have to be edited... I don't fully know how it all works to be honest, I'm just guessing in all honesty. :|
So please, don't get mad at me if I've got anything wrong...

Okay.. we did not need to know that, but thanks for sharing nevertheless!
(Just in case you don't actually know - the bogies are part of the wheels, what keeps them on sort of thing...)

It's a shame tbh but all of the other branch lines should be covered in my opinion especially up to Greenford, I don't even mind paying a little extra but sometimes the routes get boring very quickly sadly. However with more branch lines that are built in game it gives us more gameplay whenever we play "said" route

The only reason the GWR 387 would be added separately to the livery editor is if the interior is different. However I think it's being left as is for now.

The interior is different on the GWR unbranded 387 but the time to set up the livery editor stuff makes it a non-priority right now and unlikely to happen.

All of them have their own interior and seat colours but I think only the GWR unbranded 387 has a different seating layout
