I think DTG have said they are not going to be doing any route extensions as don't know how but I thought how about doing the GWE from the other direction, Ideally, Cardiff to Didcot Parkway or at the very least Bristol to Didcot? You could have it set in today's era or even the 1980's but given the variety of stations I think it would be interesting and if done from Cardiff it could get Wales in the game and the Severn Tunnel.
