Would it be possibe to extend this route to Bristol or at least to Swindon. If to Bristol it will be one of the first routes in the game to expand. Most trains leaving paddington either terminate or change drivers(if heading to Cardiff) at Bristol anyway. It also open lots of oportunities for many addition to the route, including more trains and locos. There are a lot of other routes branching off as well, linking up different mainlines. Trains go from Paddington to West Wales (another hundred miles) and Penzance in the far South West (another 200 miles), so no, not the whole route

It would mean that we could use several more locos but they've yet to add any more to GWE anyway

Yeah, you're right, but most services will either change driver or terminate at Bristol.

This gets asked all the time on the forums and elsewhere and so far it hasn’t been extended, but that doesn’t mean it won’t ever happen. It’s also the case that no routes in TSW have been extended yet. I’d say GWE getting an extension is unlikely at the moment.

True. If DVG were to ever extend a route it would/should be this one.

That's not what you said, but it is true that a lot of the intercity trains out of Paddington are shuttles to Bristol etc
You do however also have to consider that if Bristol is included then people will want all of the routes around and all the possible consists, so the route from Swindon via Chippenham, from Swindon via Parkway, the 166, 158, 150, 220/221, 70, 143 (still in use when the route is set).

That's a hell of a lot of additions to be called out for
