    Hi all,
I’m currently trying to use the GWR 802 on Free Roam but I’m having issues starting diesel mode and driving the train on GWR Remastered route.

I tried the GBR 802 and it worked for about 20 miles no issues then the train lost power and I cannot get it moving.

I had this issue before when the GWR remastered first came out and I managed to fix it but I cannot remember what I did!

Any assistance appreciated - Xbox Player.

Is it one of the train faults?

like door failure / engine unit failure?

if the second then I think it’s an engine off / start that kicks it back in?

former, going to the door and pressing a button

do you have train faults enabled? Might be solved by switching them off?

For power change in the Class 802 and 805 I have always done the following and it seems to work.

    (With key on)
    Reverser to Neutral
Press 'Diesel Mode' for 5 seconds
(Pantograph will drop, you should hear this)
Press 'Engine Start' for 5 seconds
(Engine starts, you should hear this)
    Reverser to Forward

Was able to swap between OHLE and Diesel in the 802 on the Frankfurt to Fulda (yes, I know what I said) and on the GWER just outside Paddington.
Also able to swap between OHLE and Diesel in the 805 without issue using the same procedure on the Birmingham Crewe, Milton Keynes Crewe and WCML South.

    Hope that helps

You shouldn't need to put the reverser into neutral. As long as you set the pbc to 0 (no throttle or brake) you can do the other steps listed above.
Irl power changes can be done on the move without the reverser being put into neutral because putting the reverser into neutral whilst moving triggers the brakes if the vehicle is moving (safety systems). This is actually replicated in TSW.

The 802 Diesal change just doesn't work from 1 of the cabs.
