Has Anyone Ever Stopped With 0 Offset?

    I don't think it's possible to see 0 in this field.

    It’s not possible as the distance always appears to take into account your height off the ground in the cab which is at least 1.5m, probably more in some of the US locos.

    For some shunting services, it will read 0.000 yd even if you are just close. Most recently I noticed this on Carlisle trip workings, but there are other examples.

    In regards to scheduled passenger stops, it is possible to get 0.000 yd, but pretty rare from what I can tell. I managed it a couple of times in years of playing, once at Moulsecoomb and once again at Northfleet. Of course we all know that the stop marker doesn't necessarily line up with where a realistic stop would be, but for anyone who is trying to attempt the 0.000 yd stop, I can tell you that it can be done.
