    This thread is regarding a signal issue on HRR. It occurs on approach to Duisburg Hbf from Mülheim on the S-Bahn lines.

    Around 2 km from Duisburg Hbf, there is a combined main + distant signal on the line. This is the second signal before the red signal at Duisburg station. This signal shows green, while the signal after it shows yellow in preparation for stopping at Duisburg. However, the yellow signal also displays a Speed Restriction aspect, by which it restricts speed to 60 kmph. However, this aspect should have a warning on the previous green signal, which it doesn’t display. This also causes an emergency brake at the green signal.

    The potential solution to this is to make the green signal (second signal before Duisburg Hbf on S-Bahn Line) Display the warning for reduction to 60, so it can be acknowledged by the driver, preventing forced braking or overspeeding.
