Why use AI? There's plenty of videos on YouTube reviews.
Obviously the blurry textures is a common thing with tsw routes nowadays. I ain't even on console and I have to put up with it.
Sometimes it don't even make sense, like there's a train in front of me with the destination board so blurry I can't read it, then there's another train further away and I can read the destination board fine.
And junctions are the same. I'll be approaching one and it wont render until I'm on top of it yet a junction further up the line is already rendered.

I think the only time dtg are going to get on top of this is when the next generation of console comes out with more memory.

It might, but then again it might not. You can't be certain with it.

Here's the thing, with the leaks about AMD's upcoming new platform, we're likely to see next gen devices pivot to where it increasingly looks like a fixed higher amount of memory is one thing we cannot count on as a guaranteed factor in future consoles, with the new hardware looking to be designed more as something which can scale across a range of different devices targeted at different price points similar to how the Series S functions this gen.

Yeah I think it's about time manufacturers need to stop being tight with memory, especially video.
A lot of gpu's still come with 8gb, it's no longer enough. I'm surprised with amd though, most of their gpu's these days come with a generous amount of memory.

I went with a 4080 with 16gb and with a few ini tweaks to overcome blurry textures and give a bit more draw distance, I'm almost maxing out my video memory.

lukereynolds1 I impressed you thought to use AI for this task. Irrespective of the answer it gives I think it's an approach I'd like to try on some other hobbies I've got.

Please can you tell me which tool you used?

I used ChatGPT. I know it's not completely free of error, but neither is any source. For me it's another tool to find information quickly, which I can then assess the accuracy of.

It would appear that this forum now has it's own dovetail chat bot, never seen it before apart from today early afternoon time.....

It's the perfect thing for the OP to ask about safe routes, I'm sure it would never lie about anything......

Well personally I'm making my own rules about AI.

If I see what I believe to be an AI generated post I will not respond to it and I will possibly put that poster on my ignored list.

I'm not having a conversation with a computer. If someone can't be bothered to post his/her original thoughts, I'm not interested.
