in 2025 IC train on this route is via Heidelberg thru Neckartal ( Neckar river valley ) there is a Youtube cab view on the LokfuehrerLeben channel It shows why a train driver World would need access to the street on each side of Heidelberg main station because otherwise the north valley view and the south view with the castle are hidden in the station stop at the massive modern station.
