    I agree.
I think they're quite usable as is and would like more variety.
However, DTG listened and stopped steam to limit criticism.
    *shrugs*
It is what it is. I've found other games that have plenty of steam content in them.
Ton of it in TSC, and for console people there's RRO.

( do excuse the wonky rambling I've got covid and have been doing trackwork for the last few days, I'm knackered!!!)
too all who have answered I say a big THANK YOU! the information and opinions is invaluable.
I'm honestly surprised how positive the poll was considering how loud the anti kettle sentiment can come across on here sometimes.
once we've run our Santa specials and I've got a little more time on my hands ( its flat out at the moment getting our little railway ready to run our Christmas event ) I'm going to give this some serious investigation, think I'll give my tiny line a go, in its current state! we've got so many weird little things that you'd never normally see in TSW, and things already in TSW. point being I have an IDEA!! and a plan for a test run if nothing else, hopefully its enough to get the ball rolling (FINGERS CROSSED)

Live long and prosper peeps

I go to a lot of steam and diesels gala's in my area, so yes definitely. These lines have a lot of character.

The NYMR would be a good run. Could have it run from Whitby to Pickering so you’ve got the added stretch on national rail infrastructure too.

I'll be honest I THINK it's mostly American with a "Wild West" focus on the frontier.

    https://railroadsonline.fandom.com/wiki/Rolling_Stock

It does offer the unique ability to build your own track you can drive on that I haven't seen anywhere else outside of the "model railroad" style of Trainz. (And it's a lot easier and more realistic than that)

There's also Railroader which has lots of steam (again, it's American early 20th century set in Appalachia) but you don't get to build your own track there. I play that for early diesel content, freight and passenger with goals (you generate revenue and have actual freight cars and passengers to pick up with deadlines, etc)

I know it's mentioning those two other games on this game's forum but they're things that aren't really tackled in TSW (or even TSC much) so there's not really competition. I play all 4 games for different reasons. They have distinct draws the others don't have.
