Hi, I'm Matt, and I'm a trainaholic. I got started in virtual model railroading with Trainz 12 in (surprise) 2012. I had built a number of routes, two of which were uploaded to the Auran DLS (my username is Matt996 there, too). Then my hard drive crashed. I lost everything except what was uploaded. I managed to use an old Mac to run Trainz 2 Mac, but then that machine died, too. Recently, I finally got a new SSD for the PC, and decided to try this product as well as reinstalling Trainz. My main interest is route building. I'm pretty competent in Trainz Surveyor, but the learning curve for Railworks World Builder is proving a lot steeper than I expected. I have ideas for a number of routes. Since Railworks seems to have some sort of map overlay feature that Trainz lacks, I will most likely stick with Trainz for my freelance stuff and learn this product for real world stuff.
