Horseshoe Curve, one of America’s – and the world’s – greatest railroading showcases is now available on all platforms for Train Sim World 2 - developed by Skyhook Games! Find out more here.
GEVO sounds are broken - all I can hear is only one still the same looped sound / ain't no differences between notches / just the idle sound is playing / tried few times EDIT // restarting the game helps for me Besides, the very first impression - this is good.
40 car trains for gen 8 consoles instead of 50 at SPG => earliest buy, if the price discount big enough
Well, after seeing a bit of the release stream and seeing what the route actually looks like in-game from others (especially the backdrop sceneries and displays), I'm gonna have to give it a pass this time (might get it later though). [so unless there's gonna be more locos down the line for this route (pun unintended), I might not gonna get at all, unfortunately] At least, I'm still excited about SoS, and hopefully by next month too.
LOVE this route. Great work Skyhook. I just did my first full run from Altoona to Johnstown and really like everything I saw. Great scenery and accuracy. I pretty much followed along with entire route on google satellite map and all the rivers, bridges, roads and even houses and businesses are pretty much where they are in real life. Sand Patch Grade is my favourite route in the game so this one is right up my alley (considering how close together they are in real life). I’ve done over 500mi on Sand Patch and I think this one will be a contender to match that. Love the rolling stock and the timetable too. Like any DLC for this there will be bugs and complaints but so far I think it’s a winner. Only stuff I’ve noticed is a lot of the traffic (cars) on British side of road, and the first crossing gate out of Altoona doesn’t work. Others have pointed out problems they notice but overall I say great job for day 1.
During the last streaming, it was showed the new flat car, which showed some boxes but also a semi - trailer on it! So nice news the flat car are not empty!. But in the case of the semi-trailer, there is a big mistake! It has 3 axes of wheels! But US ones does not have that way! They always have only 2 axes! 3 axes ones are common in Europe. But not in the USA! That must be fixed.
Thanks. Not many unfortunately. Not really interested in the other loco so I guess I'll give this a pass for the time being...
Both of the tunnels at Gallitzin have a invisible running threw the center of them you're not able to walk completely in either direction.
ok.. but why would you want to walk through a tunnel on a working railroad? Curious minds want or know… and can we actually call this a problem?
Still would want to know why you would want to walk through a tunnel on a working railway. But, hey, to each their own, a nit like what you describe is not a big deal in my book., but an interesting problem I assume if you want to walk the entire route.
But in this case you are not able to walk to full route, you have to walk from one end up to the tunnel. Then you have to start all over again and walk from the other up to the same tunnel. This just not make an logical sense.
my point was walking through a working railway tunnel in and of itself does not make logical sense in the real world, why should I be concerned that I can’t do it in a simulation if I wouldn’t/shouldn’t do it in real life. Anyway, not a problem that has my concern, I just find some complaints a little humorous is all. But I am sure this little nit is important to some and I hope DTG and Skyhook give it the attention it deserves.
