Hayden branch all comes down to nailing the operations imo. The description sounds good but we'll have to see if they can deliver on gameplay.

I still wish they were porting over the expert coupling mode from the BR145, as an OPTION. It adds a lot to freight gameplay imo. The limited selection of rolling stock on this route would make it a good test bed for implementation on US stuff. Maybe someday lol.

The scenery looks reasonably like Arizona from what i've seen so far.

I wonder if the ATSF warbonnet livery pack for the GP60M will just be the livery or if it will include anything else... if it's just the livery, I hope they don't charge too much for it
btw, I still think it makes no sense to charge extra for a DLC that (probably) consists of nothing but a livery

They really nailed it with the EMD GP60M plus GP60B; I really liked the video, and the sounds were impeccable.

So, this photo wasnt in the roadmap, but was released on Facebook on HIS's page, these seem to be the Ore cars that will come with the route.

I assume these are the ones I couldnt find when the route was 1st announced.

Though this photo is the only IRL photo I could find with them in service while the SP still ran the branchline.

As with any other train, it depends on your load and engine layout. It's about the hp/ton ratio.
If it's lightly loaded then yes they can be quite fast...or they could be slow if heavily loaded. I think they're geared a little bit higher than the other locos, but not enough to really make that much difference. It's something like 60 vs 70 mph but not like 100mph or anything, so the big difference is still in how much horsepower per ton you have on the trip.

They actually dared to build a 20-mile-long branch line.
