How Come Tsw Didn't Create Any Greatest Gathering Content?

I think DTG did miss the boat on The Greatest Gathering and if they had done a dlc it would have sold like hot cakes. I suspect by their silence on the matter it was a conscious decision to ignore it and not get involved. Probably they are so snowed under with dlc, for example we know B-ham to Crewe was months in the queue awaiting publication, that they had not the time and had not preplanned it to release for the celebration. After all a release months after the event wouldn’t do.
I also think financially it would have probably not passed their budget dept.

I guess with so many variables and for anyone asking the questions why, then by how you’ve put it I’d say (edit) there was no willing full stop.
Like anything it’s okay for us here pondering the whys, even the ifs the buts or maybes.
I doubt we’d ever know the truth.

Yet I do have to add for such an event being what it then for a company that souls itself on being nothing but trains didn’t seem to publicly excited.
The stream was bland not much involvement with the community.
It did seem very quiet or brushed to one side.

If I look at the situation now then what you have said would all stack up.
The reason why is a few days ago I was discussing a comment that has been left by a community member regarding a right move that DTG has made.

Basically outsourcing.
The member felt by DTG allowing so many 3rd parties to develop routes etc, players did have more variety available and quite quickly too.
Now I’ve been involved with outsourcing, subcontracts etc. so I went on to explain how I seen the benefits to outsourcing work.
However, I did go onto point out the downs side to that business approach.

Going of what you while not put two and two together it does suggest to me this Metro Rivals has a lot to answer for.
So DTG wasn’t so much bothered about Railway 200 or TGG because I think their strategy would be one of focusing on a new IP to open up to new players or revenue source.

Back to the outsourcing business.
What I proceed to point out is this.
Outsourcing is fine when it goes well. If not, it’s when cracks appear and things start going wrong internally.
We might not see it but I kinda felt it, a lot of gamers do now.
Well it such a huge risk placing so much trust into the hands of others. Dead lines/agreements.

Have things been going bad for some time and why we’re seeing a drop in quality.
Their no long communicating, and how would they if there was an atmosphere of fear or confusion.
People names or reputations on the line.

So if back tracking while taking what you say into consideration it would make sense why we don’t have anything to do with Railway 200.
DTG have bigger problems on their hands by the sounds of it.
Has that new MR distracted the teams, taken the eye of the ball and let quality control slip.
Now the companies are looking at who to blame or who’s responsible.

I know what it’s like when it all goes T£#s Up.
It can get to a point where one has to shut of just to try get the head together.
Emails go unanswered and nothing moves, the problem just stacks up.

And so if the discussion between us two helps towards answer the OP question then I don’t think we’re going to get any better or assume anything more.

Even what I’ve said is all assumptions non is really factually. I’m not there behind the scenes so how would I say for sure or to agree with anyone or not.
We can only assume, but I do feel it was rather odd for DTG not to do anything. (Edit).

So something must have been going on. I accept what you say on what could have been the answer.
I do appreciate it because it’s a lot more involved than some or I think.
Still believe DTG could have done something tho if the will was there.
