I have a 5800X3D, 64GB RAM, and an RTX 3090. A bit long in the tooth but I feel like it shouldn't stutter as much as it does. After playing the Running Train game I have new expectations for smoothness - it's much more enjoyable to not have the stuttering. Is there anything I can do in TSW to alleviate it?
When you running a route in TSW for the first time, a full run its normal that there is more stutter. The thing is the game loads textures and that will cost some extra stutter. After you have done that it should be way less intense in terms of stutter. And yeah a small portion of stutter is part of the game and depends on you're CPU. A better CPU means less stutter. To be clear a CPU is you're processer not you're graphics card. Why? This game uses a lot of cpu for loading trains. And you're CPU is not the highest on the marked unfortunately.
Ah, first time, I didn't realize that part. It does seem smoother on Spoorlijn right now than it did when I first ran it. Thanks. I'd like to get a new motherboard and CPU but DDR5 prices make it seem like am imperfect time to do so.
No I fully understand that changing you're system is nearly impossible now so better you wait until it's more affordable
