To the Dovetail Games Development Team,
I am writing to share some ideas for future rolling stock additions to Train Sim World, specifically focusing on the recently released Manchester Airport Commuter route.
While the Class 323 is a fantastic addition, the modern Manchester rail experience is defined by the CAF Civity family. Adding the Class 195 (DMU) and Class 331 (EMU) would bring the route up to 100% modern standards and offer incredible gameplay variety.
Why these units are essential for Manchester:
    • Authenticity: The Class 195 and 331 are the "bread and butter" of Northern’s fleet. Seeing them at Manchester Piccadilly Platforms 13 and 14 is a staple of the daily commute.
    • Gameplay Variety: The Class 331 would be perfect for the fast Airport-to-Piccadilly runs, while the Class 195 could provide "layering" for regional services that pass through the route toward destinations like Blackpool or Barrow.
    • Modern Features: These units offer a completely different driving experience compared to the 323, featuring modern glass cockpits (TMS), responsive acceleration, and unique engine/motor sounds that would be a joy to experience with TSW’s audio engine.
    • Asset Efficiency: Since both classes share a similar body shell and cab design, developing them as a "Northern Civity Pack" would be a great way to deliver two trains that significantly enhance the North of England's presence in the game.
Manchester feels like the heart of the UK network in TSW6, and adding these Civity units would make it the most realistic route in the simulator to date.
Thank you for your hard work on the series and for considering this suggestion!
    Best regards,
    [Jensen]
