The Yugoslav cousin of GP38-2 SD40-2 due to them using a EMD645 engine. SZ664 American versions SD40-2 GP38-2 cannot handle a fully loaded grain coal auto racks and double stack container trains on Sand Patch Grade Sherman Hill Horseshoe curve routes. This one can handle European tracks including Karawanken Bahn Jesenice Ljubljana section when towing SZ541 the Slovenian Taurus being the 04:23 Tauernbahn trip to Jesenice via Villach Klagenfurt also ÖBB 1293s 001-085 due to 173-200 being equipped for Duisburg-Oberhausen-Arnhem Railway and Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen Liege Brussels.

I'd absolutely love a Class 700. Why? Well some reasons include:
    - Looks awesome (with some great special liveries)
    - Will add to the London Commuter timetable
    - Lots of future route opportunities

I would like the Class 321 to feature in Train Sim World 2 one day as they would be awesome to have on a Great Eastern Main Line route. 89E423A5-0A4E-4240-9B0D-03D3804826EB.jpeg

Oh, no idea really, I'll go for the Class 312, the last Class of slam-door units in the UK and based on the Mk 2 coaching stock. They were used on Great Northern services as well as the West Midlands, but were probably most famous for their service in East Anglia on the Great Eastern Mainline and the London, Tilbury and Southend Line. They survived until 2003 with c2c and 2004 with First Great Eastern and just two vehicles survive into preservation, both from 312792.

I would have to go for the LNER A1 Pacific, going on Flying Scotsman in March and they are probably what most British people think of when you say steam loco: a powerful, majestic express tender engine with a long boiler and beautiful green paint. So I heard, yes. But seeing is believing. I´d buy the buggiest EVER version of this loco on launch day, if only the SOUND is gotten right. ;)

My choice would be the Godzilla of U.S. freight--the EMD DDA40X. Just under 100 feet long, 545,000 pounds, and 6600 HP, with a top speed of 80 mph.

    Illinois_Railway_Museum_August_2003_09.jpg
The SD40-2 is not a small locomotive, but alongside this beast.... (pictured front to back are two SD40-2s, a C30-7, and an EMD DDA40X)
    UP_Mixed_Power,_Feather_River_Canyon,_1984_-_2_Photos_(27016216101).jpg
I bet there was some competition at the museum over this seat.

Class 755 as they are my local trains and incredibly comfortable along with being really Bimodal which I think is a cool concept for TSW (I was torn between this or my favourite DMU)

Well, there can be a scenario for them on GEML that needs the Diesel engine to be activated due to Pantograph Failure like RRO Technical difficulties. That will be a hard difficulty scenario

I would choose the first steam engine I saw in operation (which was only the second and last one to this date), Southern 2-8-0 #630.

I'd love a German VT98, but we'd need somewhere to run it.

I know she's not a looker, but I'd love the Belgian AM62 to be in the game. These trains were widely used in Belgium when I was a boy. The traction motors of these have a very nice, distinct sound. Hearing that instantly takes me back my youth. Hard to argue with something nostalgic like that :)

The problem is they are still being used today, some even on IC connections.

What on earth? We had some similar early EMUs built in the '60s, which were the best and most luxurious train of the country back then.
    9737220_orig.jpg
But already in the '80s they were starting to be relegated to "lesser" long distance connections and some units were rebuild for operating as regional trains.
    841.n08-02.jpg.acireale.10.4.2004-petruzzella.nome_.jpg maxresdefault.jpg
All of those were retired in 2006.

Italians always looked very harshly at their railways (as we do for everything else)... but maybe we are not that bad?

You can find them on Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen at Aachen Hbf its the service to Spa. If L37 Aachen Liège line were to be made in TSW2 then merged with SKA. When playing existing German DB BR442s RE9 146.2 143 112 RE1 you will be held at Aachen Rothe Erde because tracks 6-9 are set to 3kv DC for MS62 SNCB NMBS then ask the dispatcher to change voltage to 15kv then end service after SNCB MS62 has left Aachen for Spa.

The best possible answer to this question is a train that can be used on many routes, so I'm gonna go with something that most enthusiasts despise (but I have a soft spot for)- the Class 220/221 Voyager.

A 125mph capable DMU, it's found everywhere in the UK- from Scotland to Cornwall. Here are just a few potential TSW2 routes they'd be appropriate on:
    Aberdeen to Dundee and Edinburgh
    Edinburgh to Glasgow via Motherwell
Northern half of the ECML (Edinburgh to Newcastle or Newcastle to York)
The MML from Sheffield to Derby
The Great Western line from Bristol down to the West Country (Bristol to Exeter, Exeter to Plymouth etc.)
The SWML from Bournemouth to Basingstoke.

And these are just off the top of my head. There are many other areas they could be found in. They don't have to be the "flagship" loco of any DLC, but there are so many routes they'd be able to appear in as an extra addition.

British Class 170 would be nice, probably on its own route (Maybe Birmingham to Cheltenham?)

Well, the impossible dream is the one in my avatar, the funky little BR E 69. In service amazingly from 1905-1982; 001 was the first AC-supply locomotive in Germany, and when 002 retired she was the oldest electric in scheduled service in the world.

Unfortunately, could only be used on a vintage (70s or earlier) DBB or DRG route, and only ever on the little 23 km spur line from Murnau-am-Staffelsee to Oberammergau, the line these 5 locos were built for and where they spent (almost*) their entire careers.

*002 and 003 were used as shunters at Heidelberg for a few years in the 50s
