Hi guys, this question is a bit more technical than what I usually ask. To cut a long story short. I'm currently making a big (~20 scenarios) scenario pack and want to provide a custom installer for it. By custom installer, take for example the Just Trains Chiltern Mainline. I understand the basic concept behind installing a third party add on. (Open utilities.exe, go to packages... yadda yadda yadda) I'm just wondering if there's any consequence to installing add-ons without using the package manager. (i.e. installing the add on files directly into the Railworks directory. I should mention here that no files get overwritten by my installer.) If there is any implications, is there: any documentation on the .pi file type? I understand everything in the .pi file except for the hash on the final line. I'd assume it's some kind of integrity check? any way to install an .rwp file from the command line? I want this to be hassle free for the users instead of having to load up Utilities.exe, wait 25 years for the program to load and then install the RWP.
