"interioroutputdisplay" Interface Element

Hi all. I just want to ask, developers mainly, if they could explain how to use interface element called "InteriorOutputDisplay" under Control Container. I found it between the rest of all available element types, like InteriorNotchedLever and so... Unfortunately, there´s no proper documentation to it.
