This is completely off topic, but I was just making some edits to my route proposal (SAL Baldwin - Tampa) and decided to calculate the distance from the two terminuses of the route (Baldwin and St Petersburg), so I dug out an old Seaboard timetable form 1966, and used the milepost numbers to determine the length. Baldwin is located at MP 662.6, and St Petersburg is at MP 908.9. 908.9 minus 662.6 is 246.3. This also doesn't include branches like the Brooksville Sub, which is probably around 100 miles. Is this distance to long, or is it reasonable?
