Technically speaking - yes, it would (we on Gen8 wouldn't be getting it but that's a consequence of something so large)

    Practically? No.

It is way too large to make in one go, and also make in a reasonable time.

Considering the rather small size of TSW's playerbase, the price would have to be huge to cover the costs, so in practical terms this isn't possible.

Instead of adding a network with a lot of same trains and environment they could manufacture routes that are more diferent and for people outside uk. Not everyone likes uk trains and making a lot of uk trains wont make some people happy.

Well the majority of the playerbase is covered in Germany, the UK and the USA.

And all three have many classic and iconic trains and routes not yet featured so a lot of people would like to see them.

    Hence the word "majority".

And it's quite a large majority.

Dovetail stick with these 3 - with occasional ventures to others (Currently Canada and France), for a few reasons.

    1) Licensing
    2) Some countries (examples are the Arabian Countries) have political and social issues
    3) Demand
    And a few others.

Most people like the UK, Germany and/or the United States

Even lot of people who like these places can agree that one big railway with few trains is not better than normal size rail around different places.

I think on the contrary a lot of people can agree it's good to see more trains.

The UK, for example, has many stunning and/or iconic routes such as yet to see in TSW:

    The West Highland Line (Scotland)
    The West Coast Mainline
    The East Coast Mainline
    Something in Wales
    Etc.

    And trains such as the Class 170, 156, 158, 350, 450, 380, etc.

Germany- has yet to see a true Diesel route.

America only has 3 Passenger Routes, with only one releasing since TSW2 released.

France - which has appeared - only has the One, but it is a beautiful country.

Canada is similar, however is very similar, operations wise, to the USA.

Switzerland received a poor Arosa from Rivet.

On the other hand, a lot of people want the Netherlands, Japan, Poland, Italy, Spain, many even want your own China.

However, with a couple of exceptions there, those are all minorities. They may be small, they may be large, however the current countries are solid for DTG to stick to.
