Nothing's day 1 for me. I don't have much confidence in TSW 5 base game so I'm going to wait for community feedback, but if generally favourable, I'm in.

 

Just for clarity, presumably you meant 'buy' (purchase) rather than 'by' (alongside), let alone 'bye' (farewell)?

 

Are you an NSYNC fan by any chance?

 

Personally, I never buy Train Sim routes at full price. I waited until Blackpool was 51% off, I'll do the same for this.

 

I might break my habit of a lifetime and buy this without reduction. I normally wait for sales. But the way I see it this route is going to keep me going for many months whilst I wait for other items to go on sale.
Funny how JT can do a 100 mile + route but nobody else can isn’t it? If WCMLS had been that distance, and had the correct timetables, I would have paid £40 for it on the 1st day.
This route needs to be the template going forward, less quantity more quality.

 

The last and really the only occasion DTG spent the time to build a top notch route was Sand Patch Grade. They took a similar amount of time as JT take to build their routes and it showed in terms of quality and lack of major issues.

It's highly unlikely that it will ever happen again.

 

These days it feels like JT and TSG are carrying the entire game by themselves.

 

If it's a well crafted route as Blackpool branches ,then it's a day one purchase for me ,and the two will compliment each other so another bonus,,big thumbs up from me

 

i am undecided to be honest. I would've love a first day purchase because of finally getting an electric locomotive for the UK, something that 3rd parties and DTG refused to bring in. But at the same time I lack money so...

 

It won't be magically vanishing off storefronts the day after release, so you're not missing anything by waiting a while.

 

Very unlikely to be day one for me but that's due to work etc. At this rate I won't be holding off for a sale either.

Having said that, I'm still using 4 even though I claimed the starter pack, so might wait till I can confirm 5 works fine with WCMLOS first.
