You got lucky, just like I did on the Brighton line a few days ago. Came back to earth with a thump the following day on Dresden to Riesa with an AI train blocking the booked platform with a red signal, so using our new trick of 8 view and trying to set up/operate the cab controls didn't work.
Well, that's annoying. I was full of hope. Especially as the sky on that route suddenly looks like the sky, I thought perhaps they'd done a little surreptitious tweaking in other areas.
Whether it works or not is rather random, although your odds are better on an empty route like SPG or CCS compared to busy routes like DRA or London-Brighton. I always make the attempt to restore a save- sometimes it works.
I have been running train 512 on HSC, empty hoppers. I saved the scenario about midway between the curve and MG. Have actually resumed it twice secondary to confusion on signals approaching Cresson MO interlock where the train crosses from main 2 to 3. Looking at the map there are 3 trains in front of me when I resume. I was able to make it all the way to Johnstown without a signal issue. Fixed, who the H... knows, but this time it worked.
Yesterday Perma red occurred to me S19 which is the first thing on Chapter 2 Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen new journey. Platform Xbox Series X
This week's patch on the Epic games version fixed the problem I was having, I can now load saved games on HSC and OSD. DW
