I will enjoy it thanks lol and am doing. If you look at my comments on the PC forum you will see I have found a few things I don't like, I just like to be balanced. Some people on here seem to have gone out of the way to find fault with it, some of them who don't even own it.
Watched a vid and I was not surprised that there is no prototypical bouncy ride (rapid transit has more) or indeed accurate bogie run sounds, for such a small route I would have expected them to have gone to town with the sounds, unreal can handle it... It sounds and runs nothing like the real thing to me. But if you like it then you like it, it's not for me Rivet. It isn't called the "bone cruncher" for nothing.
Listening to the sounds in this video, the game does seem to be lacking somewhat, she sounds like an old rollercoaster type train. Incidentally, I’ve also noticed the train goes right to the buffers at Ryde Pier Head, whilst in the game, it goes nowhere near them.
For me, no price would be right for the IOW route -- not even free. I made the mistake of buying this for TS years ago and it quickly became the least driven route I owned because 1) it's strictly passenger traffic and 2) there's really nowhere to go. Even the RIVET trademark won't lead me to make the same mistake twice.
