The Saikyō Line running from Ikebukuro to Saitama in the Tokyo area would be perfect for Train Sim World. The line is only 37 kms long and serves 19 stations. It starts in high-density Ikebukuro and passes through low-density regions ending at Saitama city. Ikebukuro is a massive beast of a station and is the 2nd busiest in the world. I can't see Dovetail Games accurately modeling that station to be honest. I am tired of the same old US, UK, Germany. This risks preventing the growth of a platform which ironically contains the word "World" in it's title. One can only dream of TSW actually becoming more reflective of it's name. If Train Simulator is anything to go by, I seriously doubt that we will ever see anything outside of the same old regions. After all these years, probably 90% of routes in Train Simulator represent the US, UK, and Germany.
I am very partial to green colour, and I wanted to make this suggestion a bit more lively-looking by adding a few media: A 2021 cab ride video of a journey between Ōsaki-Ōmiya, with the latter third featuring a good amount of parallel running with shinkansen services: A crossing on the route: Destination displays on a Saikyō EMU: https://twitter.com/kacchan_1019/status/1532663528360116224 Interior of an EMU of the route: https://twitter.com/yono_local/status/1533620133364502528
