I hope for santa fe gameplay pack being moved to 0-3 months section (with maybe an announced release date) but at the same time I'm pessimistic about it, being realistic, I think the santa fe gameplay pack will only be released in tsw6 and will not leave the "tbc" section of the roadmap (not before tsw6)
Unfortunately they don't announce dates for DLC releases on roadmaps, as they have said it alot in the past so I assume its still policy. That is saved for a separate DLC articles. So unless a date has been public prior to the roadmap it wont be on there.
but if any dlc is in the 0-3 months section (wich is the case of the manchester airport commuter) it means that it is about to be released (in a maximum of 3 months), right? unlike the santa fe gameplay pack wich since tsw4 has never left the tbc section
I should be more specific and possibly chose the wrong words which have confused you... But, we do get a rough idea of when a particular add on will be released when they are allocated to particular sections of the roadmap, and in the case of the ATS route, I'm sure it was in the 0 - 3 month category. It's certainly not gospel, and can be changed at a moments notice, but if the last Roadmap was anything to go by, it's getting very close to release and does have a specific release window allocated to it.
Not nessecarily as things change and considering this very DLC was in the 0-3 months back in the October roadmap. This is a perfect example of that instability of the RM at times.
But remember this specific DLC was in the 0-3 months already back in October and and November RM's. So I wouldn't be surprised if its held back until TSW6
but in the case of the manchester airport commuter it was an exception (due to problems that occurred during development) as far as I can remember nothing like this has ever happened before
Most definitly things happen. See the DB420 which at the time Maik said was coming this year for sure in a post in 2021. The class 104 and PFR update TT was in the coming soon and dissappeared for awhile. Because of life. They are a small team working in their spare time. How about San Bernardino in last years May roadmap 0-3 months. Cargo line 4 was delayed recently as well, and the 158 Fife circle updated timetable. It doesn't bother me as I was just pointing out how you can't always trust whats in the roadmap and DTG even say things can change, and that they never release dates on the roadmap. As alot of people are hoping to get such and such release dates on the roadmap on this thread I just was pointing that out. And the fact something is in the 0-3 months category does not mean it still could be longer. I myself am a patient person and don't mind waiting, never have.
This one rings so true to me. It doesn't matter how many times even serious problems which would be an easy fix get raised in the official feedback threads or elsewhere on their forum, nothing is done, and there's not even a hint anyone cares. If you (as in dovetail) aren't going to listen to posts in feedback threads why bother having a feedback subforum if you're just going to show contempt for the people who dare to pay for your product?
That's only because of how the game's turned out, if things went differently and we had 30 steam routes and two modern German routes that wouldn't be the case. Steam era in reality has just as much layering protentional as the German or UK stuff we've got, it just hasn't reached critical mass like those have.
The feedback threads aren't for them. They're for us. For us to tell someone else how good/bad a particular DLC is.
I think the point he was making is that they backdate everything a couple of years, to avoid making any of all the EMU´s that recently went in to service in Germany. Mireo, HC Desiro etc.
I think if they announced that TSW 6 has Ebula included as feature, community will go wholeheartedly and absolutely nutsy bonkers ... I know I would
I'm just hoping we here that the GWE Remaster and 158 timetable for Fife Circle are nearly ready to come out soon. (Of course if they aren't that's cool too, no need to rush something out before it's ready)
