I've always took this train back and forth between from Boston, MA to Rochester, NY for school and even I've went to Chicago union station few times for vacation. I think this would be a very cool route because once you arrive Albany, NY you will have to coupe up with another train from NYC, then headed to Chicago. It about 1,017 miles. Then back to Boston, MA you'd decouple at Albany, NY since another train will head back to NYC.

Share your experiences if you've took lake shore limited or should I say "Late Shore Limited" since the train is always late due to CSX fright train.
