Meanwhile, back in the land of proper discounts 3DZug are having a 30% off sale this weekend to celebrate their birthday. Code is BIRTHDAY2022, shown on the landing page of their site. https://www.3dzug.de/?language=en
Indeed. I pointed it out to Matt on his personal stream yesterday and he didn't believe me, so he had to check. It got an "Oh dear".
Is the 3DZUG stuff worth the price they ask? For example, even with the discount the ICE1 is still £20.
I can't comment about the ICE1 as I don't have it; however, in general I highly regard 3DZug's products. They usually have excellent modelling, great sounds and comprehensive interior modelling.
Nice one I thought they might be quite good just more expensive than your average bear. The two ICE models are definitely something I'll look at in future.
Steam usually have a March Madness Sale so look out next Thursday March 10th or maybe the following Thursday 17th. Steam sales begin at 6pm normally on a Thursday. The Steam Madness sale normally has some big discounts so fingers crossed everyone.
I bought the Passau to Regensburg route in the RSSLO German Routes 30% off sale, which incidentally ends this Sunday. A little more pricy than some of their previous offerings, but I must say it is very much great value for money. The only downside I found was, because of the detail provided it took up nearly 6gbs of hard drive space. You get a 120km route with two electric locomotives and rolling stock. The scenery on the route is fabulous and there are plenty of scenarios too. I have all of their routes and they all are really well done. I really can recommend the Passau to Regensburg route. You will not be disappointed. On the 31st March they release their new Regensburg to Ingolstadt route. So you will be able to drive from Linz down to Ingolstadt If you haven’t tried any of the RSSLO products, they are really good and well detailed. They are like the UK Just Trains!!!
Time for me to chime in on this thread SPRING SALE! The GST Plasser & Theurer 09 CSM Series Pack is now heavily discounted to help fund the ongoing MPV development. Grab yourself an absolute bargain! Standard Sale Price: £5.99 ATS Subscriber Sale Price: £4.99 – DR73001 Jarvis – DR73101 Plasser & Theurer BR – DR73102 Carillion – DR73105 Carillion – DR73106 Plasser & Theurer Intercity – DR73106 Fastline – DR73107 Fastline That is all
...hmm. It's almost like that one might be worth doing without subscription for the time being. Since I am holding out on that for a more finished Missing Link.
It truly is an absolute bargain of a pack for that price - and nicely compliments much of TS's routes as it's the only on track plant we have up to yet. Very versatile, being at home on UK, German, French, Austrian and Indian Railways. Arguably most at home in Austria as that's where Plasser & Theurer hail from - however, all liveries in this pack are UK based (although I have seen an Indian Plasser livery somewhere)
Haha Force of habit - I love developing for TS and I'm at it from morning until night every day, very natural to sell what you love.
In 2021 Steam’s March Madness sale was from Thursday March 11th at 6pm UK, until 6pm on Thursday March 25th. So maybe this Thursday, but I have not received any confirmation yet.
Correct me if I am wrong dragoner, but March 11th 2021 was a Thursday. This Thursday is March 10th. So I don’t not what your point is as Steam sales begin on a Thursday. As far as I know this year is 2022 and my comments were about last year 2021 as I posted. “In 2021 Steam’s March Madness sale was from Thursday March 11th at 6pm UK, until 6pm on Thursday March 25th. So maybe this Thursday, but I have not received any confirmation yet.” So dragoner, I really don’t know what your “beef” is all about!!!
For the record a few dates of March Madness from the past years: 2018: Mar 23 - Apr 3 2019: Mar 7 - Mar 18 2020: Mar 5 - Mar 16 2021: Mar 11 - Mar 25 March Madness is a Train Simulator specific sale, however there is also a Steam wide "SimFest - Hobby Edition" sale happening this year, very likely between 28 March and 4 April, which may include also Train Simulator and DLCs (as for example Train Sim World 2 is listed on SimFest Eligibility Preview page).
And knowing Steam, they won't tell you because they'd rather you buy at full price with lack of knowledge up to a minute before the sale only to then have to request a refund and wait 24 hours for the funds to clear before trying again. LOL
I do apologise dragoner, I must be living on another planet as I honestly though March 11th last year fell on a Thursday. I will contact Google and Apple to correct their calendars. Good to know that today is Sunday then!!! I must be an idiot to be using the wrong calendar all these years, celebrating birthdays and Christmas on the wrong day.
That's because Im stupid idiot. Took me three times to realise the actual date on the link. Now Ive deleted it due to 'mis-information'. Sorry again.
Lets get back to the origins of this thread. Latest sales. as orb kindly posted, it is clear from previous sales that the March Madness sale can last anything between 12 to 14 days and Steam normally have an Easter Sale. Good Friday is on April 15th so with this mind it would be sensible to have the March Madness on the 10th or at the latest 17th. Giving two or possibly three weeks space between sales.
That doesn't mean anything. They went from one sale (their special train series that went the weekend) straight into Lunar New Year with a day in between.
Maybe we should have a thread telling people when a Sale is on and another so people can Argue about when the Last/Next sale is?
Wrong. It's about advising people of the latest sales, so we can benefit from them. But some people post all sorts of irrelevant stuff that distracts and annoys, so others post to try and get it back on topic. Like I am.
Dovetail Weekly Sale (Organised from biggest discount to smallest discount) Locos: London Overground Class 378 'Capitalstar' EMU (80% off) DTG Union Pacific Big Boy (70% off) Network Southeast Class 159 DMU (70% off) Routes: South London Network (65% off) Mittenwaldbahn: Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Innsbruck (60% off) Semmeringbahn - Mürzzuschlag to Gloggnitz (60% off)
Reminder: the Class 378 is free with the Goblin Lines and North London Line (which comes with the Goblin Lines). The original Big Boy is in Battle for Sherman Hill.
Yes, if you want the 378 for AI and scenario making then get the North London / Goblin Lines, if you want the South London Network scenarios with the 378 then you have to buy the standalone 378.
Wrong. The 378 DLC itself bundles with the Goblin Lines. You get the same 378 for SLN scenarios. https://steamdb.info/sub/114630/apps/ Only thing missing is NLL scenarios. If these matter to you, you can contact Support. I frankly don't see a reason to buy NLL separately just to get them, and that's foolish to set up that way on DTG's part.
I think there is some confusion, I was not responding or referring to any of your March Madness Sale messages. I was just informing everybody of the current DTG Weekly Sale on their store.
It doesn't matter what you were talking about, this thread is regarding ALL latest sales not just what you want to discuss. Can we please let this topic go back on topic at least while Cyclone's sleeping?
We are all getting sick of your inane posts that have nothing to do with "THIS IS ON SALE NOW" Unless you have a post e.g. "There is x on sale for x much", then please do not post on this thread. Discuss your issues by starting a separate thread!!!
