    LBSCR E2 Railtour
    Attempt 2

This railtour saw the late night workings of NWR No.1, "Thomas" & sister E2 engine LBSCR No. 70 (Thomas's replacement on the LBSCR). Along with various NWR coaching stock.

We departed Ballahoo, trundling along the branchline before eventually joining onto the mainline where we were able to build up speed with the two engines working hard. I think we got to 118 KMH on an uphill section.

The train speed through stations like they didn't exist on the fast line, before having to slow for a red signal on the approach to Knapford.

Having arrived into Knapford, we spun around the train & departed for Ffarquhar, were the engines pulled the train with all their might, puffing along the branchline.

Along the branchline, we passed some of Sodors iconic sights, such as the windmill in the marshes, the watermill & the bridge.

After arriving into Ffarquhar & turning on the loop, we then departed down to Knapford Harbour.

We saw pigs & cows playing a game of football with a donkey being a referee.

Upon arrival into Knapford Harbour, 1 & 70 ran around their train before departing back up for Ffarquhar for one last journey.

We were to head back to Vicarstown to stretch out, but the signal on the Ffarquhar loop had other ideas.

    ----

The journey wasn't without its hiccups....

I had to respawn the two engines in Knapford after the pathing system wouldn't allow them on the turntable.

The signal after the tunnel heading towards Knapford on the Ffarquhar branchline caught me out, yet again, having to respawn the whole train in Ffarquhar (because we're not allowed to have a save progress like TSW?? - given the target audience, i thought this would have been there!?)

And of course, the pathing system wouldn't allow us off the Ffarquhar loop in the end.
