Hi I'm back. Today I'll be suggesting a new TGV route. That route being from Paris to Rennes.

    Route info:
    • Length- 227mi mainline/260mi including spurs via Le Mans and Laval
    • Trains per day - 16 - 26ish (as per Rail Europe)
    • journey time: 1hr 25min - 1hr 56min
    • Stations - 5 (Paris Montparnasse, Massy TGV, Le Mans, Laval, Rennes)
    • Speeds - 300kph Les Ullis - Connerre/ 320kph Connerre - Rennes
    Route Map:

The route runs from the bustling streets of Paris with the stunning Eifel Tower in the the background running through the beautiful western French countryside and finally ending up in the unique distinct region of Brittany. There are multiple power change locations depending on the service you're operating keeping the player on their toes. There is a large TGV yard in Paris allowing the player to cold start a train and bring it into service.

What rolling stock would come standard with this route?
Well like my other other suggestion of the LGV Nord, this route should standard with the TGV Réseau joined by a layer of the TGV Duplex from LGV Mediterranee.

Now for some sights along the route:

    Massy TGV station

    Le Mans TGV station

    Laval TGV station

And finally terminating at the beautify unique Rennes station

Here are a few scenario suggestions for the route:
    • Cold-start, create and bring into service a consist to start the day
    • Severe weather has damaged the tracks near Le Mans so you must detore via Le Mans with other delayed services whist trying to remain on time.
Those are a only couple of suggestions I can think of. Im sure you guys or DTG could do way better than I can here.

I'll end off with my final justifications for this route. DTG lately has been moving to longer routes. Not only with length but also time taken to finish. Kassel - Wurzburg is 116mi and while this route is much longer I have faith that DTG can make it work. Cajon Pass take almost 2hrs to complete as does this route. This route can be cut in half like Cajon with either a station or signal stop in Le Mans. However please DTG don't do this and instead give players the option before the service to go all the way through or split it in two. And my final justification being this: It;s simply not a TGV route without the whole point to point segment. LGV Mediterranee is nice but would be so much better if I you could run a full service to Lyon. That's what this route give's you but at 320kph! Fast, fun, and lenghy. Everything that should go into a TGV route and LGV M falls short on length and speed (I'm a full speed 320kph guy). This route has all that! So please community please back me up here and DTG please add this route into the game and I'll pay full price!
Anyway I rest my case. I'm Mrrando19 and thank you for reading my nerdy TEDtalk and most importantly add this route please!

Wonderful suggestion. It would be great to have another French route in the game. It’s been a long while since we got LGV Med back in 2020.
