Didn’t you literally call someone out a few days ago for trying to moderate a thread? You said OP doesn’t get to control what people talk about in their threads.

I did indeed, but I don’t think I’ve done that. The two of us were going round in circles and, as it was me that was part of that conversation, I felt it had got to the point it was going nowhere. I genuinely thought something was getting lost in translation because I was saying one thing and the response coming back didn’t seem to be related to the problem, so I was putting a stop to a pointless argument.

In my opinion that’s totally different to stating in the first post what can and can’t be discussed and whether or not people can post screenshots in the thread which is what I mentioned the other day.

I do get your point though.

In addition to these problems with eye adaption, I am 100% certain that in all but very isolated cases, the volumetric skies and clouds do not cast any shadows onto the scenery.

This was something that was claimed as a feature during the launch streams and literature. The reality is that it’s just not true.

The reality is that it is true, and it's been shown to you that it's true, and I'm not sure what you're missing.

    Cheers

This is my overall experience of TSW3's lighting too.

To think that lighting was the most hyped up feature for this game.

I have tried the game out on gamepass and for me on sehs it has this weird washed out effect. Players shouldn't have to hack the game just to make the lighting better. It is an improvement but it still has issues as pointed out by the op.

This is why players shouldn't always fall for the hype.

Hope this gets fixed soon since it's a general problem

Afraid we’ll have to disagree on this. The discussion we had on this previously didn’t show me cloud shadows in my opinion, what showed on the ground did not match up with the sky.

It’s ok if we disagree ;-)

Glad I'm not the only one noticing this. As I remarked earlier it's now more of a concern than the save game, TBH. Why are DTG being so reticent on the issue? If this is what all future routes in TSW will look like, my money will be going to the truck sims and Run 8.

Is the lighting also strange on the new German route?
