This made me delete TSW5 from my console. Tried some shunting on Sherman Hill and having to zoom out the map every time I used it to switch some junctions made me mad.
I didn’t see anything in the Patch Notes to say it had, so assume it’s still being worked on. Currently one of the key issues that’s kept my routes and play time on TSW4.
I know, that you're going for accessibility, but please, can we have big eye-sores, like these new icons, behind an accessibility option? The old icons were totally fine for me... these are just... too big and too distracting...
I see you are using my map mod. As DTG have modified the blueprint, I will push an update in the next minutes for the Map Background mod to make sure it's working as intended. (I will not modify anything else except the background)
Still freezes. I checked the map to see how far from the buffers I were when it froze, the train derailed.
had a crash on the live map on Frankfurt Fulda. Though i am playing on the series S, Frankfurt HBF is fine at the start, but when I go onto the live map, it starts getting worse due to the live map. After second time, crashes
Multiple times it freezes. On blackpool branches and wcml..have to toggle labels on and off etc to get it to not stick
I posted on SB route feedback how i escape live map trap on PS5. My issue more generally on PS5 and both Steam and Epic is station Hop on a route using Live Map. My unsteady hands let me get close to the name point crosshair in a station on the map but then the struggle to land the pointer begins. This would not be an issue if the graphical hot point were about twice as wide or if i could use, say, the PS5 Bluetooth keyboard arrow keys ... or a deeper zoom as an Accessibility option. Please give this a thought, because Parkinsonism strikes more men than women and younger and is degenerative with nonactual disease-modifying treatment. The symptomatic drugs end by making the movements worse. Quite tragic. From palsy to extreme dyskinesia. Cars and trucks and planes will soon elude me ( and i no longer fly or even drive IRL ) but trams and trains should be ok for longer with attention to our needs ... and we are many and more each month, worldwide: Lewy Bodies, MSA, PD, PD dementia and PSP and simple Essential Tremor ( classic palsy in elderly )
It doesn't seem widely known, but you can, on XBOX at least, station hop using LB+Y. Playstation controls often are the same so try that, whatever the equivalent buttons are
Map still freezes unless you turn labels off, sometimes it'll take a while before it even let's you do that.
