Feature Livery Designer 2.0 Feedback

Ditto on the camera controls. Me (and many others I'm certain) have been waiting 5 months for our liveries from previous titles to work in the tsw4 editor. It's incredibly demotivating to know that everything I've made cannot be used or enjoyed in the newer title.

 

same dude i think i got south eastern line thing from tsw3 on tsw4[free compatibiliti thing] and others and i think i got some liveries in general that i cant get back let me check rq tho

yup there is some liveries on tsw3 that i just CANT get on tsw4 thats annoying as hell to me

 

It's annoying as hell as a creator too! I've been hounding them for months

 

A line tool with addable vertices (kinda like the one in paint.net but with more addable vertices instead of just 4) would be a neat addition to the livery editor.

 

Dovetail could we get an honest reply on the progress of this fix. Would be great to have tsw3 liveries available in tsw4 again. They're still blank messes when I try to use them

 

I don’t think you can without deleting them, only personal liveries, though I would like to be proved wrong.

 

I have only really started TSW4 on PS5 and I love the game, I am having a lot of fun with livery mode, currently designing ICI tankers for the Blackpool branch. The small issues that nags at me is there is no grouping option for layers, for example if we make designs of individual parts like a logo using shapes etc I think it would be great if we could group that whole logo into one layer or possibly even save custom logos, shapes etc that we make. If that makes sense. If I have posted this In the wrong place I apologise

 

You can group shapes (see the image below). You can't, however, group items with text......unless you make the text out of shapes......nor can you save groups to use on different models (which is, of course, very annoying).

The game still won't display community liveries on the GWE HST in the snow.
TBH I thought that this had been fixed some time ago?

 

It seems like it's not the livery not loading, that's just a snow texture all over the train. I can assume it is due to lack of actual snow level in GWE back when it was released, iirc it was impossible to get this route covered in snow when i played TSW2, thus resulting in some weird bugs when added afterward.

 

Can you not filter the layer list for the actual side you are viewing anymore? It seems like no matter what side I'm selecting to look at, I keep seeing all the layers in the list.

 

Can you, please, fix the issue where layers that have been rotated away from 0 degrees won't group with layers that haven't? It's driving me around the bend!
