Nameplate needs to be made smaller and the construction Materials decal should be replaced with the Petroleum version. Regards Hentis
Very nice, but I think the Red part should be more on the brighter side, not much, but should be, looks a little too far on the brown side.
The colors in the editor aren’t what they look like in the game when I selected a service around noon it looks very similar to a picture I took as a reference but even using real codes doesn’t give the results I want it’s so weird in this game in particular
Thought the Class 66 needed a bit of backdating for EastCoastway, so Newhaven Aggregates has seen the first 59/3 in Mainline livery. Can anyone guess why its a 59/3? (As a clue, my Loadhaul liveried 59 is a 59/6 and if I did a Transrail one it would be a 59/4)
Nice! You could also make a copy of that and make a one debranded livery, which has the stripes either end removed and a white stripe added
My take on the SPT (Debranded) livery. Note, my first try had too steep of an angle at the front, so I decided to tweak it, as you can kind of see here:
Oh yeah yeah I see there’s two if I’m not mistaken one in the middle with the “Greater Anglia” and the other with the “National Express” near the front cab I’ll do a new one for each
Looks wonderful! However, I believe that by the time the Blue Saltire livery appeared, that is during the time period of the TSW route, the carmine-and-creams had been de-branded and the First Group logos painted over.
Thank you. I believe there was like 9 units using the debranded carmin & cream but I preferred to add the logos it looks so much better like that, without them it’s like the train is naked. Let say we’re around 2005
Yes, nice for the carmine and cream livery, but now a southern 314 (313) appears also regularly for me in Glasgow... But i can live with that.
This is apparently a welcome first. I've never had custom-liveried MUs spawn as AI trains before, only individual locos and wagons.
I've had an ECW Class 66 paint I did appear on SEHS a few weeks ago, hadn't tried it with the 395 and 375, but have never seen my IC Swallow ICE3 or LU Pride 72 stock appear as AI, so certainly new for me.
...as some in the forum have already noticed: after my discovery of the UFO crash site near Glasgow, I also made a fitting livery for the Class 314 and an appropriate screenshot right next to the UFO!
Blood-and-custard 314, pre-weathering I beat my head against the colors for a while until I finally learned that this livery wasn't just reminiscent of old 50s BR Crimson Lake and Pale Cream, it was Crimson Lake and Pale Cream. And those British Standard shades were easy enough to look up. The real challenge on this one, which you would think would be easy, is dealing with the slanted sides when LD is based on a hard 90-90-90 set of axes, so the usual projection stunts don't work. The driver's grab-handles in particular were a nightmare, ultimately taking 13 layers with triflingly different projection depths. One thing I have yet to do is the warning(?) markings on the doors; I can't find a post-debranding photo which shows them legibly so I don't know what they say. (The little patches of mismatched red paint at the front corners of the roof came from a photo; I like putting in a couple of nonstandard but RL details).
A lovely recreation. There are two little things worth looking at in your version though: -the black stripe on the cab door - I haven't found that on any 314, but you can see some shadows doing that, so maybe in your photo it appeared as if it was actually a different colour -the gangway ends on the other hand should be black/dark grey Otherwise a lovely livery and nice touch with the cab corners.
