I’m confused I think it was the 313 repainted in BR livery that had the full door in grey I corrected mine
The 313 has one unit painted into the unit u painted. It was painted Into that livery a couple of years ago to mark how old the trains were, which why they gave it a br livery. They fully painted the doors on white and added turquoise/ blue dire runs in order for it to comply with prm regulations
Thanks! Thanks for the tip on the coach ends; I've corrected them. I also saw from your pic that I had the striping wrong; it was actually black and gold where I just repeated the crimson and cream. As for the black stripe "on the driver's door;" it isn't; the cab door handle as well as the grab-handle just in front of it were either painted black, or covered in some sort of dark synthetic grip material:
The 313 in the old network rail livery, on the pictures the yellow doesn’t appear to be as bright as in real life but it’s because when taking a picture the quality decrease but when I see it on my TV it looks great:
I was talking about this bit up on the door. Though now that I look at it - isn't it black at the front going through to the door? So lowering projection depth on that might solve it.
That’s the problem with this train there’s a glitch with the textures again if you apply a layer to the handrails it will also apply to the front just above the cab window
Okay so I’ve done lots of liveries for the 314, will show them here soon: . Tfl rail . Overground . Greater Anglia . Greater Anglia de branded . One de branded . One/ NXEA with greater Anglia branding . wagn purple . wagn white . De branded spt . De branded Jaffa cake . Br blue also I don’t suppose anyone has a close up of their spt logo? thanks in advance
Far from being perfect I still need to do some adjustments but here’s the 313 in Silverlink livery, great to use on the Bakerloo line between Queens Park and Harrow & Wealdstone:
Thanks. For the green and white “waves” you need around 4 layers for each colors and a lot of patience for sure. About your question if I understand it then yes I did it
Well, one end is a little roadworn These trains were washed regularly and never got near as grungy as, say, American freight locos- but you don't drive around in rainy Scotland and keep a showroom finish.
Nice, note that there are dark grey stripes by each set of passenger doors. That looks really good- how did you weather it?
Is there? I couldnt see them on the picture I was using, no matter I look for a different one, I appreciate the feedback, thanks.
I figured that since I'm going to have this livery twice in an attempt to rectify the proportions on the line, that I'd do a clean version while I finish the dirty one. This time I used a variant paint scheme seen on No. 314206: it had the red passenger door frames extended out to the ends of the rain gutters, and narrow red cab door frames.
Man, my eye for detail is slipping! I wonder why that wasn't made perma-painted like the window frames and door gaskets. Anyway, will fix -------------------------- Do you or does anybody know what the blue decals on the doors are? I can't get a pic with any detail at all, just a blur of blue and white.
One de branded i now hope to add ‘private’ signs to cab doors and add the grey rectangle on the doors next to the disabled area
LOL me too mate I can’t remember how many times I forgot some details and I had to modify my creations again anyway here’s the blue sticker you’re talking about:
Nice. Just to say, the blue stripe in the middle of the 'rainbow' should be the same colour as the body. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a6/90001_Liverpool_Street.jpg
Looks the same to me in that and this: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/ae/Hugh_llewelyn_315_820_(6311840566).jpg
