I tried to do a livery on the 378 but it seems that both MSO coaches are “mirrored“ so you can’t individually customize them, also some parts are weirds like on these pictures, if I put something on the left side it’s inverted on the right side. And to finish, textures are going messy around the doors, too bad for all these small inconveniences but still the model is great and pleasant to use outside of the livery editor:
Class 378 with its “5 car train” at both fronts, I know it’s not an accurate livery as I misplaced the coach number as it will appears reversed on the other side of the coach if I put it on both extremities like in real life. The same for the wheelchair sticker:
very nicely done, love those little details like the small numbers that makes it just a little bit better. I as a dutch person am really happy to have dutch routes and trains in the game!
Hey thank you ! Thanks a lot ! Yeah finally a route from another European country and I was really wanting the ICM to come to the game.
47522 in her unique LNER Apple Green BR Parcels livery that she carried in the 80s/90s. I've done three versions of her.... Ex-works with no weathering Some weathering Later condition when the Parcels lettering had been removed and the BR logo repositioned slightly
i finished my NACCO Zacns yesterday and it's online on the creators club for download! i tried to make all the details as good as possible and in terms of colors to come as close as possible to the real deal even though outside of Livery Designer the colors are often different due to the light. unfortunately due to the limitations of layers it was not possible to add more things that would have made the livery even better, but i'm happy with the result since i can't find another livery of this particular tank wagon on the creators club! it's based on the NACCO/VTG tanker the MUTANT M16.088D in the special cream/beige color. i hope you like it!
my own made design of my own fictional company RAILNEX Europe Group. The first loc in my fleet; The Siemens Vectron (BR193) quite simple design but still fresh and modern, if I had more than 1000 layers it would have been even better! so I have a short question: for TSW4 there is a more layer mod that gives you more than 6000 layers I think something like that. is it possible that when I buy TSW4 and make my liveries on Livery designer on TSW4 with the more layers mod that I can download them to TSW5? then I don't have to deal with the stupid limit of 1000 which is really too little!! Cheers !
Latest WIP which is nearing completion. Another departmental Whistler for the Blackpool and Shap routes. This time 97405 (ex 40060) with it's unofficial name "Ancient Mariner" (Partially damaged on one side). It should get uploaded in the next few days once completed.
hello guys, new rolling stock and loc from the paintshop. It’s my own design of RAILNEX and HOOKHAUL collaboration livery in the tight blue white which looks very professional and industrial. it is a fictitious design with the idea that this loco is taken over from MRCE dispolok cheers !
Oh I am so proud. HOOKHAUL EU is Born. And to be a part RAILNEX European Group. We just need the HOOKHAUL/ RAILNEX Celebration UK livery from TSLP Paint Shop now Later Bud. TSLP✌.
Yep. Simple and clean. A Functional livery. It does it’s Job what it’s designed for. It’s why I keep the HOOKHAUL logo simple. And because I couldn’t afford to waste valuable decals when we only had 300 available. So had to make the logo simpler than I would have liked. But yet HOOKHAUL was only a small company in the beginning so wouldn’t have the funds or resources for fancy logos. But as we can see HOOKHAUL has come some distance and now is far far away from home. Hence as CEO of the HOOKHAUL UK group then I will do a formal company announcement soon. It’s long over due mate. Catch you soon Mr Mystery TSLP✌.
Let’s go to Switzerland shall we ? Here’s the TGV Lyria, not as expected as it’s not perfect with many missing details. Sadly 1000 layers is ridiculously low and not enough:
Nice work there You mention the Decal limit, so are you aware if DTG are looking to increase these at some point?. ✌
Thanks. I have absolutely no idea if they’ll increase the limit nor I saw them talking about it. When they increased from 300 to 1000 layers it did a mess by breaking ever liveries, at least on console so I’m mixed between having more layers or not.
Hey it’s okay. You know I follow your work from a far. And why I think I DM you, and sorry I forgot about the rules on that one so my bad. Okay so no chance of any official or factual information from many sources when it comes to this topic. I understand what you mean about messing a few liveries up especially in the early days. Yet I believe DTG shorted the issue of missing decals on importing livery files. But yes I fully understand why your in two minds. Personally I like the challenge of getting a livery done within a set limit of decals. 300 you could just about get some good work done. But not to the higher standards we see today such as with your work and a community friend or fictional business partner I work with. Due to the nature of both of your work then the topic of not enough decals always crops up. And to be fair I am pretty lucky too as I focus mainly on UK TOCs or my own fictional work, meaning I can do cool stuff to the high standards I want with the 1000 limit range. I mean even if we had an extra 300 or 500 decals would come in handy. Failing that I think the only other way around the subject of decals and limits would be newer decals them selfs. But that’s a completely different subject entirely on what DTG could or would add to the core decal list. It’s difficult at times when we do take something challenging on and run short or into silly issues yet look what you and we all still manage to produce. Something special, neat and professional executed. We get around the problem some how. ✌
Thought I'd do some more Tinsley locos and more specifically some of their 47s. Tinsley started to unofficially name it's class 47s during 1989 so they are a couple of years out from the Blackpool and Shap routes but I thought it was pretty acceptable to use a little artistic license and assume the routes were set just a couple of years later etc..... Here we have the first seven 47s that the depot named including 120 (the ex RAF Kinloss) which had recently been transferred down from Scotland, A couple of ex-Stratford locos still with their Stratford silver roofs and the loco that would eventually become famous for being the depot favourite (but with a different unoffical name) 145 which initially carried the name Jostinot before gaining celeb status with it's various embellishments and name plates. These are all still works in progress and still just have the same basic weathering on them all but will be released in a week or two.
I realised I messed up with my list of the first 47s named by Tinsley depot..... I missed a couple mid list so I've now added them to the set.... Hopefully get them all separately weathered and tweaked over the coming couple of weeks.
